One More Time ( Becky x Freen )

Chapter 40

"Mae kub! Come on! Mommy and my Yaa are waiting!"

Freen heard her son call from the door of their apartment.

"I'm coming, luk!" Freen replied, quickly closing her last suitcase and slung her bag over her shoulder.

After planning about two weeks about their vacation, considering the type of trip Finn was most interested in and checking the weather forecast, this week might be the right week for their three-day trip to their choice of vacation, Hua Hin, considering Araya is supposed to meet her business partner there on Saturday.

At first, Araya said she didn't want to impose on the family vacation, but Freen insisted that Araya was her family too, that they would never leave the family alone. So, here they were now, getting ready for their short family vacation.

Becky and Araya just arrived from their house with the driver, waiting in front of Freen's apartment.

"What's taking you so long, Mae?!" Finn asked as soon as he saw Freen appear, carrying two suitcases.

"Is everything ready, angels?" Becky appeared from outside the door.

"Mommyyy...!" Finn yelled as he ran and Becky picked him up to kiss him.

"Oh, Bec. Come in na, but don't trip over the bags," Freen called.

"Hey, my favorite angel." Becky walked over to her after she put Finn down and pounced on Freen in a bear hug. "Ready for our vacation?" Becky asked, giving Freen a quick kiss on the cheek.

"I'm ready!" They heard Finn answer instead of Freen.

"Cai, we're ready ka." Freen giggled as she pulled away from Becky. "Just let me do a last minute round to see if I have everything turned off and locked up. Finn luk, you can go wait in the car with your Yaa na."

Finn picked up his backpack and ran downstairs to meet his Yaa while Freen walked away to do one last check of the house. When she was done, she closed the front door behind them. Becky carried one of the suitcases and Finn's stuffed animal, Fluffy.

The driver took all the suitcases from her hands and put them in the trunk.

"Are we staying there for three days or three weeks?" Araya joked as she saw two large suitcases that Freen packed along with her.

The driver, Nawat, was going to take them to Hua Hin since neither Araya nor Freen wanted to drive for hours to get to their destination, and although Becky demanded that she wanted to drive, but since the accident, she was prohibited from driving until she got her official driver's license that would arrive in the mail in about two more weeks.

The drive was long, but for the most part, it was enjoyable. Becky and Finn were laughing in the back row quietly so as not to disturb Araya who had fallen asleep in the second row of seats of the Range Rover. Freen was reading a book and when a Zack Tabudlo's song, Give Me Your Forever came on, she smiled, as it had brought her back to a certain memory.

"Mae!" Freen heard her son shout and quickly turned her head to look behind her and was surprised when Finn pressed the button on his Polaroid camera that Becky bought him on purpose for the vacation.

"Finn luk..." Freen protested, knowing that her son had taken a funny photo of her.

Araya, who was awake from the loud voices, also turned her head to look behind her.

"I got you too, Yaa!" Finn told Araya and both he and Becky laughed as the photo came out from the front.

Both were photos of Freen and Araya with their mouths open and their eyes wide open, looking so serious, yet funny.
