After the argument with Yoongi, Hoseok found himself in need of comfort, and he instinctively went to Jungkook’s dorm. Now, they were sitting on Jungkook's bed. Hoseok was on top of him, straddling Jungkook’s lap as he buried his face in his friend’s chest, tears soaking through the fabric of Jungkook's shirt.

Hoseok sniffled, his voice broken as he muttered, “I… I feel like such a bad boyfriend. Who doesn’t want to have sex with their boyfriend?”

Jungkook wrapped his arms tightly around him, rubbing his back in a soothing rhythm. “Taehyung doesn’t,” he replied calmly.

Hoseok stilled, lifting his tear-streaked face to look up at Jungkook. “Huh?”

Jungkook sighed, brushing a few strands of hair from Hoseok’s face as he spoke gently. “Taehyung’s the same way. We’ve been together—me, Taehyung, and Jin—for almost a year, and Tae’s still scared of intimacy. He doesn’t like sex, and he’s not ready. Jin and I understand that, and we don’t push him. We’re okay with how things are… and he’s okay just watching when he wants, or doing his own thing.”

Hoseok’s eyes softened, and he nodded, feeling the weight lift slightly. “So… it’s not just me?”

“No, Hobi. You shouldn’t feel bad at all,” Jungkook assured him. “If Yoongi can’t understand that, he’s the one with the problem, not you. Besides, it’s way too soon to be thinking about sex. You two just started dating.”

Hoseok managed a weak smile, nodding. “I told him that, but he… he just got so angry. He…”

He stopped, biting his lip, his gaze dropping as he felt his throat tighten. Jungkook noticed the hesitation and immediately sat up, gently moving Hoseok so he could sit beside him. He cupped Hoseok’s cheeks, searching his face. “What happened, Hobi? You can tell me. Don’t be afraid.”

Hoseok shook his head, looking away as he whispered, “It’s nothing…”

But Jungkook wasn’t going to let it go. “Hoseok, don’t lie to me. Did Yoongi… do something to you?”

A tear slipped down Hoseok’s cheek as he gave a small nod, his voice barely audible. “He… he yelled at me… and then he hit me. But he apologized afterward, so… it’s nothing.”

Jungkook’s jaw tightened, his fists clenching in anger. He stood up abruptly, eyes blazing. “He what? Where is he?” He made a move toward the door, determination in every step. “I’m going to teach him a lesson.”

Hoseok jumped up, grabbing Jungkook’s wrist in desperation. “Please, Jungkook, don’t! I’ll handle it. He… he apologized.”

Jungkook turned to face him, his eyes fierce. “Hobi, don’t be naive. He’s manipulative, he’s abusive, and he’s dangerous. You deserve someone who treats you with love and respect.”

Hoseok’s lips trembled, his voice small and broken. “But… I love him.”

Jungkook’s expression softened, and he sighed deeply. Gently, he pulled Hoseok into his arms, letting him cry as he held him tightly. Hoseok clung to Jungkook, tears flowing freely as he let out the pain he’d been holding in.

As he felt Hoseok’s shoulders shake with sobs, Jungkook’s own eyes filled with tears. Hoseok was so kind, so naive, so gentle, so easy to manipulate—and Yoongi was taking advantage of that. Stroking Hoseok’s back, he whispered, “Please, Hobi… stay away from him. You deserve to be happy.”

Hoseok shook his head against Jungkook’s chest, his voice a mere whisper. “But… I can't, he will change, I promise and we will live happily ever after.”

Jungkook sighed, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of Hoseok’s head, wishing he could shield him from all the hurt Yoongi had caused.

Hoseok's character is making me angry.
