Class had just ended its exam period for the day, and the teacher had stepped out to finalize the scripts, leaving the students confined to their seats until he returned. The tension between Hoseok and Yoongi was still thick in the air. Hoseok sat at his desk, gaze lowered, too distracted to notice much around him. Behind him, Jungkook soothingly ran his hand through Hoseok’s hair, a gesture meant to comfort and distract him from the lingering hurt he felt.

Yoongi turned around from his seat, forcing a small, apologetic smile. But the sight of Jungkook’s hand in Hoseok’s hair sparked a wave of jealousy within him. Jungkook and Hoseok had grown closer lately, and it was eating away at Yoongi.

Hoseok looked up, startled to see Yoongi finally paying him some attention after days of silence. But before Hoseok could process it, Yoongi reached over and possessively took Hoseok’s hand, casting an intense glare at Jungkook, who returned it with equal fury.

“Hoseok,” Yoongi muttered through gritted teeth, “come with me. We need to talk.”

Hoseok immediately started to rise, but Jungkook hissed, grabbing his wrist and standing up as well. “Hoseok, don’t be stupid. Stay away from him.”

Yoongi’s grip tightened as he pulled Hoseok toward him harshly. “Back off, Jungkook,” he snarled. “This is none of your business. Maybe you should worry more about your own relationship instead of meddling in ours.”

But Jungkook didn’t let go, pulling a visibly panicked Hoseok back toward him. “Hoseok’s my best friend, and I’m not going to sit by and watch some piece of trash hurt him.”

Hoseok’s heart raced as he stood frozen between them, the whole class now watching the confrontation. He gulped, feeling utterly overwhelmed, and in a shaky voice, he pleaded, “Stop. Both of you. Please… until you can figure this out, don’t talk to me.”

With that, he broke free from their grasps, grabbed his backpack, and strode out of the classroom. Yoongi instantly bolted after him, and Jungkook moved to follow, but Yoongi turned, blocking his way.

“Stay out of this, Jungkook,” Yoongi growled in a low, menacing tone. “Hoseok is my boyfriend, not yours.” He shoved Jungkook back, giving him a look of warning before rushing after Hoseok.

Frustrated, Jungkook clenched his fists, striking a nearby table. He ran a hand through his hair, breathing heavily with frustration.

Meanwhile, outside in the empty hallway, Yoongi finally caught up to Hoseok, grabbing his wrist and yanking him back. Hoseok stumbled but steadied himself, only to be met with the harsh sting of Yoongi’s backhanded slap. Hoseok’s hand flew up to his cheek, eyes wide with shock and pain as he stumbled backward. His lip trembled, and tears began to spill from his eyes.

Yoongi stepped closer, his face twisted in anger. “What’s going on between you and Jungkook?” he demanded, his voice low and accusing.

Hoseok’s voice shook as he answered, “Yoongi… he’s just a friend. I told you that.”

But Yoongi leaned in, his tone dripping with bitterness. “Liar. You’re probably sleeping with him, aren’t you? That’s why you won’t give yourself to me. You’re just spreading your legs for someone else, aren’t you, Hoseok?”

Before he knew it, Hoseok’s hand flew up, landing a stinging slap across Yoongi’s face. Voice trembling, Hoseok whispered, “Don’t you dare call me that. I’m your boyfriend, Yoongi. I deserve your trust and respect—not this.”

Yoongi’s expression softened, and his demeanor shifted as if something inside him had snapped. He pulled Hoseok into an embrace, surprising him as he began to sob, pressing Hoseok tightly to his chest. Hoseok flinched, confused by the sudden change, but Yoongi’s tears only seemed to intensify.

“Please, Hobi… I’m so sorry. I’ve just been so stressed with exams, and it all just came out wrong,” Yoongi whispered, his tears streaming as he held Hoseok even tighter. A subtle, almost unnoticeable smirk played at the corners of his mouth.

Hoseok’s anger faded as his eyes softened, and he gently wiped Yoongi’s tears away. “Yoongi… it’s okay. I understand. I’m sorry if I made things harder.”

Yoongi leaned in, giving Hoseok a light peck on the lips. Hoseok, already softened by Yoongi’s apology, let the tension melt away.

A smile crossed Yoongi’s face, though his eyes remained cold and unreadable as he cupped Hoseok’s cheeks. “Would you come to my dorm tonight? Just to cuddle and watch a movie?”

Hoseok beamed, nodding eagerly, unaware of the dark intentions hidden behind Yoongi’s gaze. If only he knew what was coming, he might have thought twice about going. Tonight would be his undoing.
