Hoseok ran blindly, legs carrying him through the dark, empty campus, each step thudding in rhythm with his heart's panicked beats. His face was drenched with tears, his loud, wrenching sobs filling the cold night air. He didn’t care who heard him or if anyone saw him. All he could think about was getting away, away from that room and the video, from the shame that clung to him like a second skin.

Reaching his dormitory, he sprinted down the familiar halls until he found his door. He stopped, his hands shaking as he pulled the key from his pocket. He fumbled, dropping it, and it tumbled to the floor. A scream tore from his throat as he gripped his hair, dragging it harshly while sobs wracked his body. He bent down, breathing heavily as he picked up the key, and this time managed to unlock the door. As soon as it swung open, he removed the key, stormed inside, and banged the door shut behind him.

“Why?!” Hoseok screamed, clutching his hair, feeling the pricks of pain as he yanked at it. He slid down to the floor, pressing his knees to his chest and hiding his face against them. His body convulsed with every sob, his muffled cries filling the small space.

He struck his chest with his fists, each hit fueled by raw agony. He wanted to stop feeling, to erase the image of the video from his mind. Everyone had seen him—vulnerable, exposed, at Yoongi’s mercy. And Yoongi, who had taken what should’ve been private and made it public, had kept his own face hidden while leaving Hoseok’s humiliation bare for everyone.

He gasped, feeling the pain tighten in his chest, struggling to catch his breath. The betrayal weighed on him like a stone pressing into his heart. Still shaking, Hoseok crawled to his bed and sat down. He pulled his phone out, needing to hear a familiar, loving voice, one that would soothe him and tell him he wasn’t broken, that this would end.

With trembling fingers, he dialed his father’s number, silent prayers leaving his lips. The line rang once, then twice, then again. Hoseok held his breath, his tears dripping onto the screen. But the ringing continued until it cut off without an answer.

“No… please… please pick up,” he whispered, his voice breaking as he redialed. But it rang through once more, and when it finally disconnected, he felt something within him crack.

He stood up abruptly, pacing as he dragged his hands through his hair. His breaths were ragged as he begged silently, trying to make sense of Yoongi’s cruel act. “Why? Was it worth it, Yoongi? Just because of some stupid title?” His voice trembled, his desperation rising. “I never did anything to you, and you did this to me… you destroyed me.”

His legs gave out, and he collapsed to the floor, screaming—a raw, guttural sound that pierced through the emptiness around him. He pressed his forehead to the cold floor, letting his agony pour out as he sobbed, hoping the pain, the shame, the betrayal would all just vanish.

Back at the hall, the silence was thick and heavy, as everyone tried to process what they had just witnessed. No one moved or spoke, the shock lingering in the air. Finally, the vice principal, face pale and red, stepped onto the stage, trying to regain control.

But before she could speak, a loud, angry yell rang out.

"Yoongi!" Jungkook's voice tore through the silence as he sprang up from his seat. Rage distorted his face, his fists clenched at his sides as he marched toward Yoongi. Before Yoongi could react, Jungkook’s fist crashed against his cheek, sending him sprawling to the floor.

Hyun and Theo jumped back, watching wide-eyed as Jungkook straddled Yoongi and threw punch after punch, his fury unrestrained.

“How could you do this to him?” Jungkook screamed, each word punctuated with a hit. “What the hell did Hoseok ever do to you?”

Yoongi tried to shield his face, but Jungkook was relentless, his fists moving with a force driven by pure rage. Gasps filled the room as students rose from their seats, watching in shock. Jimin ran forward, grabbing Jungkook’s shoulders in an attempt to pull him back.

“Kook, stop! Stop it!” Jimin yelled, but Jungkook shoved him away, voice hoarse with fury.

“Let go of me! He’s going to pay for what he did to Hobi!” Jungkook’s voice cracked, his eyes wild and full of anger. “You think this is a game, Yoongi? You think you can just ruin someone’s life like that and walk away?”

Yoongi’s face was smeared with blood, his eyes glassy, as Jungkook’s fists pounded into him. Jungkook’s voice grew louder, shaking with emotion.

“All Hoseok ever showed you was love and admiration!” he shouted. “He respected you, trusted you—and you used that against him. You’re so sick and selfish that you couldn’t stand him getting a title over you, so you humiliate him in front of everyone?”

Yoongi’s head lolled to the side, the fight draining out of him as Jungkook’s words hit like daggers. He could barely process the pain, the blood pooling around his face.

“You don’t deserve his kindness, his friendship, his love!” Jungkook spat, his fists stilling for a moment as he stared down at Yoongi with disgust. “You threw away someone who would’ve done anything for you—just for your own twisted pride.”

By now, Yoongi’s face was a mess of bruises and cuts, blood seeped out of his nose, his mouth, his breath shallow. Jungkook’s hands trembled as he raised them again, but Jin ran up and grabbed his wrists, pulling him back.

“Kook, that’s enough,” Jin's voice was a mixture of fear and urgency. “Stop! You’ll kill him!”

But Jungkook struggled, still fueled by fury. “He has to pay, hyung! Do you see what he’s done? He ruined Hoseok’s life over a title, a stupid title!”

Jin held him tightly, finally managing to drag him away. Students crowded around, helping lift Yoongi’s limp form, his blood staining their hands as they supported him and took him to the nurse's office.

Hyun and Theo exchanged nervous glances, watching the chaos unfold with guilt weighing heavily on them. They had nudged Yoongi into this, thinking he would play a small prank or maybe make a bitter comment. But this—this was far beyond anything they’d expected.

Theo swallowed hard, leaning in to whisper to Hyun. “This… this was too much. We pushed him, but… I never thought he’d go this far.”

Hyun nodded, face pale as he took a shaky breath. “We need to stay away from him now. No good is going to come from being associated with this.”

But they both knew it was too late. The damage was done, and it would ripple through every life it touched—especially Hoseok’s.

And the seeds of further chaos were already beginning to take root.
