Under the university’s soft evening light, Yoongi and Hoseok sat beneath the canopy of a sprawling tree in the garden, away from the usual hum of campus life. They were wrapped in an almost magical seclusion, their figures hidden from the outside world by the thick, protective branches above them.
Yoongi handed Hoseok a bowl of steaming ramen, his fingers grazing Hoseok’s briefly. “You like ramen, right?” he asked, his voice casual but with an edge that made Hoseok’s stomach flip.
“Yes! I… I love it,” Hoseok replied, feeling the warmth of the bowl in his hands mirrored by the warmth of Yoongi’s gaze. He took a bite, hoping it would distract from his nervousness, but he could feel Yoongi’s eyes lingering, watching him in a way that left him breathless.
A silence settled between them as they ate, thick with tension. Finally, Yoongi spoke up, his voice soft yet commanding. “Hoseok, you’re always so… quiet around me. Why is that?”
Hoseok’s chopsticks paused mid-air as he looked up, a shy blush coloring his cheeks. “I don’t know… I guess… I’m just a little nervous?” He laughed softly, averting his eyes.
“Nervous around me?” Yoongi leaned in, his face close enough that Hoseok could feel his warm breath against his cheek. “You don’t have to be.”
The intensity in Yoongi’s eyes made Hoseok’s heart pound. His cheeks grew hotter as he felt a strange pull toward Yoongi, one that he’d never experienced before. It was magnetic, and Hoseok found himself lost in Yoongi’s gaze, the rest of the world fading around them.
“Hoseok,” Yoongi whispered, his voice dropping lower, “do you ever think about… this?”
Hoseok swallowed, confused yet captivated. “About what?”
“This.” Yoongi leaned in, closing the distance between them until his lips pressed gently against Hoseok’s. It was soft at first, almost testing, as if to make sure Hoseok wouldn’t pull away. But when Hoseok’s wide shocked eyes fluttered shut and he leaned in, Yoongi’s hand slid behind his neck, deepening the kiss, drawing Hoseok closer with an intensity that made his heart race.
Yoongi's kiss became hungrier, guiding Hoseok’s body down to the soft grass. Hoseok felt the world spin as Yoongi’s hands trailed down to his thighs, parting them slowly as he positioned himself between them. Hoseok’s breath hitched, his body both frozen and electric under Yoongi’s touch. His mind was a whirl of new sensations, innocent yet overwhelmed, feeling the warmth and weight of Yoongi’s body pressed close.
As Yoongi pulled back, a thin string of saliva connected their lips, and Hoseok’s eyes opened wide, his cheeks burning with embarrassment. This had been his first kiss—a kiss so intense, it left him breathless, dazed, and yearning for more, even as he tried to process it all. And he would never forget this day, this kiss.
“Yoongi…” he stammered, his voice barely a whisper.
Yoongi smiled, his thumb grazing Hoseok’s cheek as he whispered, “Hoseok, I’ve fallen for you. I… I want you to be mine.” His words held a softness, but Hoseok felt something unspoken beneath them, a deeper, hidden intent that he was too lost in the moment to question.
Hoseok’s eyes widened in shock, feeling like his heart had stopped. “You… really mean that?”
“Of course,” Yoongi replied smoothly, his gaze unwavering. “Be my boyfriend, Hoseok.”
The question left Hoseok’s mind spinning. He’d never imagined this could happen, never dreamed that someone like Yoongi would want him. “Y-Yes… I’d love to,” he stammered, his voice barely audible.
Without another word, Yoongi leaned down, capturing Hoseok’s lips once more in a kiss, deeper and more consuming than the first. Hoseok’s hands clutched at the grass, feeling as though he might float away if he didn’t hold on to something. Yoongi’s touch was possessive, his kiss relentless, drawing Hoseok in until there was nothing else, only the heat and intensity between them.
As Yoongi finally pulled back, his expression shifted, his eyes darkening as he looked down at Hoseok. There was a glint in his gaze that Hoseok couldn’t place, a hint of something ominous.
Little did Hoseok know, he’d just fallen into a carefully woven trap.
