The morning light filtered into Hoseok’s dorm room, casting a soft glow over the scene of his friends sprawled in various states of sleep around him. Namjoon lay on the bed, his arms still protectively wrapped around Hoseok, who had finally managed to find some peace in his embrace. Jin was curled up next to them, one arm draped over Namjoon and Hoseok, holding them close.

On the couch, Taehyung lay with Jungkook sprawled on top of him, their limbs tangled in a comforting embrace. Meanwhile, Jimin was on the floor nearby, his mouth slightly open, a small droplet of drool pooling on the floor beneath him.

The peaceful scene was abruptly interrupted by a loud, insistent knock on the door. At first, no one stirred. But then, after a few more knocks, a deep voice yelled from the other side, “If no one comes out now, I’ll burst in!”

Hoseok groaned softly, his head pounding from the exhaustion of the previous night. He blinked his eyes open, slowly realizing he was still straddling Namjoon’s lap. Namjoon stirred beneath him, his arms loosening as he, too, began to wake. Around the room, the others started to rouse from sleep, faces twisted in confusion and annoyance.

As Hoseok tried to sit up, the events of last night momentarily slipped from his mind. He shouted a sleepy, “I’m coming!” toward the door. Taehyung groaned, rubbing his eyes, and muttered, “Who the hell is knocking this early in the morning?” as he checked his phone for the time.

Hoseok walked to the door, barely awake, and pulled it open, revealing a man standing on the other side, his expression twisted in disgust as his gaze swept over Hoseok. Blinking, Hoseok frowned, wondering why the man was looking at him like that. “Uh… can I help you?” he asked, still groggy.

The man’s lip curled slightly. “Principal’s orders. He wants to see you. And Jungkook, now.”

The man’s words struck Hoseok like a punch. In an instant, the painful memories of last night came rushing back—the leaked video, the humiliation, the betrayal. He felt his stomach drop, his throat tightening with anxiety. His hands instinctively clenched at his sides as he struggled to steady his breathing.

Behind him, Jungkook was sitting up, raking his hands through his messy hair, his eyes still puffy from the tears he’d shed the night before. He noticed Hoseok’s expression, and a dark understanding passed between them as he realized what was happening.

Hoseok swallowed hard, giving a small nod toward Jungkook before turning back to the man at the door. “We’ll… we’ll be right there,” he said, his voice trembling slightly.

The man scoffed, rolling his eyes before walking away, muttering something under his breath that Hoseok couldn’t quite make out. Hoseok closed the door, feeling his heart pound with dread. He turned back to his friends, who were now fully awake, watching him with concern.

Namjoon swung his legs over the bed and stood, his gaze steady and reassuring. “We’ll go with you,” he said firmly.

Jin nodded, placing a comforting hand on Hoseok’s shoulder. “You’re not facing this alone, Hobi,” he whispered.

Jungkook, who was now on his feet, took a deep breath and clenched his fists. “Yeah, we’ll all go together. Whatever happens, we’re here,” he said, his tone fierce with determination.

Hoseok’s throat tightened, but he managed a weak smile, grateful for their support. But despite the warmth of his friends around him, a deep pit of fear remained lodged in his stomach. He knew this meeting with the principal would not end well.
