Put your arm 'round her shoulder,

now i'm getting colder.

You stood there watching the car disappear into the distance, dust trailing behind it. The odd feeling of being left behind grew stronger. You sighed, pushing the strange thoughts out of your mind. But it wasn't entirely irrational to feel this way—after all, you arrived with a full team, and now even the cheerleading squad had headed back to Miyagi.

And here you were, still in Tokyo.

It felt like you had been abandoned, but you weren't a kid anymore. You quickly accepted the reality, hailed a taxi, and headed toward the apartment where your parents lived in Tokyo.

Luckily, you didn't need a key since the door was set up for facial recognition. When you arrived, the apartment had all the signs of being uninhabited—everything was covered in cloth, but at least it was clean and well-kept.

After settling in, figuring out your meals, and adjusting to your temporary stay in Tokyo, you lay down on the small bed in the second bedroom. With a deep exhale, you let out all the tension that had been building up since the team left.

In the end, you finally set off.

You remind yourself that you were now Shiratorizawa's "spy" in Tokyo, and you had to complete this task seriously—even if you weren't sure how much intel you could actually gather just by watching them play.

After all, you weren't exactly like Hinata, who could seemingly gain insights just by observing others. Still, you weren't sure if you'd spot any weaknesses in the opposing teams. What you did know was that you weren't looking forward to socializing or communicating with anyone, especially not with the main players.

As you arrived at the school gates, you took in the sight of the heavily guarded academy. It certainly didn't feel like a laid-back school.

You hesitated.

On the outside, you might've looked calm, but inside, the thought of any potential social interactions made you anxious. Your mind was racing, working overtime in a way that made math problems seem easy in comparison.

In some ways, socializing is much harder than studying.

You mentally coached yourself, When I see the Fukurodani Volleyball Club, I need to smile. Don't make a weird face, and try to seem approachable. Then, find a quiet corner and stay out of sight. The goal is to avoid drawing attention and just blend in—become invisible if possible.

With that mindset, you felt at least somewhat prepared to visit Fukurodani's volleyball team.

Hibari led you on a tour of the school, starting with the main teaching building. It was spotless, with only the occasional sound of teachers giving serious lectures. From there, he showed you the Science and Humanities Building, where you gape at the advanced equipment and slightly eerie laboratories. You even stopped by the landscaped garden, filled with exotic plants and animals that left you quietly impressed.

Next came visits to the entertainment building, the comprehensive building, and then... the principal's office?

Wait, the principal's office?! you thought, stunned.

Hibari noticed your surprise, pausing for a moment before offering a sheepish smile. "Yeah, we can visit it... because the principal of Fukurodani..." He hesitated briefly before continuing, "...is my dad."

Your mind went blank.

What?!

You stood there, dumbfounded, any concerns you had about Fukurodani instantly vanishing. On this scorching hot day, it felt like you'd just been struck by lightning.
