It's been my experience that you can nearly always enjoy things, 

if you make up your mind firmly that you will.

A tense, back-and-forth struggle.

Shiratorizawa was clearly trying to avoid direct aerial battles with Kamomedai as much as possible.

The front-row spectators gasped with every play,

Some even gripping the railing in front of them,

Eyes glued to the court, afraid to miss a single moment.

And then—

"BOOM—!!"

A loud, echoing smack.

Followed by—

"Dammit!!"

Goshiki's furious yell rang out across the court.

Yet again, his sharp cross shot had been blocked.

And because the angle was so tricky,

The ball ricocheted in a way that made it almost impossible for anyone on your team to react fast enough to save it.

The crowd erupted in murmurs.

Then, from the back of the stands, someone shouted—

"Wait—look! Kamomedai is in the lead!!"

'What?!'

Everyone's heads snapped toward the scoreboard.

And sure enough—

At some point, without anyone realizing,

Kamomedai had pulled ahead—by five points.

The referee's whistle pierced through the noise.

Gasps and stunned silence filled the gym.

On the massive scoreboard above the court—

Kamomedai vs. Shiratorizawa.

25–23.

The first set...

'Kamomedai won?!'

The audience turned to each other, dazed.

The entire stadium buzzed with disbelief.

Because they couldn't even remember the last time Shiratorizawa lost a set.

Ever since you joined the team,

It almost never happened.

And to lose to Kamomedai—

The underdog team of the year?

If it had been Itachiyama, or even Fukurodani,

They wouldn't have been this shocked.
