I leave a mark so you know,

i'm the best.

Throughout the game, you focused intensely, your face expressionless. Yachi, who had snuck a glance back at you, was so frightened by your look that she didn't dare turn around again.

Since you had arrived later in the afternoon, the game wrapped up pretty quickly. The sun began to set, and as the losing team finished up their diving drills, the day's training camp came to an end.

Leaning back in your chair, your head swirled with everything you'd observed. The mental overload left you feeling a little light-headed as you stood up, ready to head home. But before you could take a step, several tall shadows loomed over you, blocking your path.

Still seated, you looked up in confusion, only to be greeted by the grinning faces of Kuroo and Bokuto. Kuroo wore his signature smirk, and Bokuto was laughing in his usual, booming way.

Regardless of the different smiles, their intention was clearly the same.

They stood shoulder to shoulder, right in front of you, effectively blocking your way.

You stayed silent, glancing up at the two "captains" who were clearly making their intentions known. Calmly, you assessed the blocked path, sneaking a quick look at the small gap next to Kuroo, who was standing with his usual carefree attitude. You calculated your chances and, just as you were about to slip away—

"Shoyo! Want to practice with him?" Kuroo's voice rang out, cheerful but with a mischievous edge. Your eyes widened slightly, and before you could react, Hinata's enthusiastic voice filled the air: "Yes! I'm coming!"

Suddenly, Hinata's bright orange head popped up right in front of you, completely shattering any hope of escaping. His eyes sparkled with excitement, and he raised his hand eagerly, exclaiming, "I haven't played with Mr. Dynamite yet!"

Oh no... the ultimate "protagonist" is here.

You sighed, rubbing your hair in frustration and yawning lazily. With a helpless look, you wiped a tear from your eye and asked, "At least let me grab something to eat first?"

"No need for food!" Kuroo grinned, slinging an arm around your shoulder. "We've been playing all day, so what's the rush? Why are you in such a hurry?"

"I've been using my brain all day, too," you shot back, rolling your eyes at him. "Thinking burns as much energy as playing, you know?"

Kuroo just laughed, hands on his hips. "Ha! You can tough it out with a little perseverance!"

Beside him, Hinata nodded energetically, clearly on board with Kuroo's plan. Outnumbered and "locked in" by these determined guys, you had no choice but to give in.

Resigned, you headed to the cafeteria with them. Despite your protests about not wanting to eat for free, Kiyoko conveniently passed by and smiled, reassuring you, "They agreed."

With your energy drained from overthinking all day, you finally gave in. You sat down for a nutritious meal with everyone, agreeing—though reluctantly—to join them on the court after you'd digested your food.

Fortunately, Kuroo and the others trusted your character enough to believe you wouldn't ditch halfway. Little did they know, though, that if they had shown even a hint of doubt, you might have actually run away.

But they were too sincere, and you had no choice but to suffer in silence.

On the way, you passed by Tsukishima, who looked deep in thought. He was walking with his head down, clearly preoccupied. You raised an eyebrow but didn't bother to engage. You couldn't remember every little detail from the comics, and it wasn't your business anyway.
