All my emotions,

feel like explosions when you are around.

Meanwhile, you stomped toward the sidelines, clearly frustrated, your anger practically visible with that imaginary hash mark on your head. Just then, Bokuto sneezed, glancing around in confusion before bouncing right back to pestering you like nothing happened.

Akaashi sighed, noticing your irritation. He raised his voice, calling out, "Bokuto-senpai! Didn't you say we should let him see Fukurodani's strength?"

Bokuto froze, turning around with a confused look. "Did I say that?"

"Yes, you did, right Konoha-senpai?" Akaashi said, turning to Konoha and the others, who immediately caught on and backed him up.

"Yeah, you did!"

"You even said you'd give Dynamite-san a real challenge!"

"Of course, he's the ace, so that's a given!"

Hearing this, Bokuto's puzzled expression quickly shifted into one of pride. He puffed out his chest, hands on his hips, laughing confidently. "Hahaha! Of course, I did!"

Then, with a mock-serious face, he looked down at you, still sitting, and said, "Get ready to witness the strength of Fukurodani!"

You blinked, then quickly nodded. "Okay, okay! Go on, show me, I'm ready for it."

Bokuto, clearly pleased with your response, gave an excited "hey!" and hurried back to the court, eager to show off.

At this moment, you felt more exhausted than during any game. In a match, at least you had teammates to share the load, allowing you to rest a bit between plays. But playing with Bokuto? It was a whole different story. He was like a never-ending ball of energy. You had no idea why he wasn't discouraged, even though he hadn't managed to catch a single ball in nearly an hour. Instead, he just seemed to get more and more excited.

At least you got a glimpse of how Fukurodani played during an actual game. Sure, the price you paid was high, but luckily, you didn't have the strength left to dig deeper into studying them any further.

Little did you know, though, that after you left, the Fukurodani Volleyball Club held a special meeting to analyze your serves from that afternoon—without Bokuto, of course.

Right now, you were sitting on the sidelines, watching Fukurodani's teamwork unfold. With one hand resting under your chin and the other holding your baseball cap, you looked on with a serious expression. You had to admit, even though Bokuto's mood could shift quickly, his skills and overall strength were undeniable.

That diagonal shot just now? It looked simple, but you weren't sure if you could've returned it. His speed and power were far beyond what you'd expect from an average ace.

Still... he's just too easily thrown off balance emotionally.

Why does he get more fired up when he can't catch my serves? You couldn't figure it out.

The squeaking of sneakers on the floor echoed through the gym as the game intensified, and your expression shifted from disbelief to focused determination. With your chin still propped on your hand, your hair fell loose, gently stirred by the cool breeze from the open window. Your sharp eyes locked onto Bokuto, who was leaping high into the air. And then, the sound of impact—

"Bang!!"

Seeing Bokuto's excited expression after landing, a small smile crept onto your face. As expected of Bokuto, you thought. Even I can't help but feel happy watching him play like this.
