POV Suki

I slide my arm under his as we leave the ciné room with a few other people passing the door as well

" That was amazing! " I say, literally jumping of excitement

He smiles at me

" Yeah, it was "

" Stop lying, you didn't even watch half of the movie Alessio "

" I...I did " he replies, with a shy guilty smile

" Oh really? And what was the name of the first dance partner of Johnny? " I ask as I lift my eyebrows

He chuckles softly

Awww, he is adorable

" Fine...I don't remember, but it's cause I was getting distracted by your beauty all the time " he retorts

I roll my eyes with an amused grin

" What a smooth talker "

" I'm just telling the truth "

We make our way to the parking lot, and I'm now wearing his Tommy Hilfiger sweater over my blouse since the night got a little chilly

I left my blazer at the office earlier so...

" Should we go somewhere else now? " I ask

" Do you wanna go somewhere else ?" He asks as he presses the car key to locate his range rover that immediately makes a kind of crisp siren sound

" I don't know...we could... it's still early..." I stutter

He turns around to look at me

" Suki, what are you doing? I really don't wanna misunderstand your intentions..."

" You are not...I mean...I know..."

I take a deep breath as I face him

" I heard the rumors at work , that you like me a little, and I would lie saying that I didn't have a crush on you as well " I say as my cheeks flush

He looks surprised, he clears his throat

" You...you heard that? " He says

I smile genuinely at him

" Of course I did, and I told myself that it would be better not to take the risk to start something like that as we work together, I didn't want to ruin the office chemistry that we have...
But as I was thinking about it, I wonder, what do I have to lose if I give it a try?
You're such an amazing person and a gentleman, I want to know you more, to know you better, no longer as a co-worker but as a man..." I say, my heart beating faster

He takes my hand in his

" Oh cara! I've been dreaming of those words from you  "

I laugh softly

" Really? Well... here we are I guess
I would like to spend more time with you out of the office, even if we're not dating right away but we can get closer step by step "

He nods slowly with a smile

" I would like that " he says with his Italian accent getting accentuated, probably cause of the emotions

" Oh and... since I know you care a lot about professionalism and work ethic, let's keep this private for now, I mean not private for our families or friends, but...I don't want the employees to be talking about us in the hallways  "

" I understand and I agree completely "

I look at him and he gives me a tender smile
