When my colleagues finally come back, the hallway was immediately filled with their hubbub and the cubicle office area was no longer quiet

Noise of voices raising, laughter, heels clicking against the floor, and the sound of computer opening

I honestly prefer this atmosphere better

" Toc toc ! " Says Lorraine at my door, followed by an excited Ezrela

" Girl! We just visited the most beautiful mansion ever today, I would actually live here if I was a rich ass bitch, that's why I just love to work with people who have the budget " says Lorraine

" We always work with people with the budget " I reply with a smile

" But I wish you were there, you would have loved it too " she continues as if I didn't say anything

" I have the photos, I'm gonna show you " says Ezrela

" Send them to the group chat immediately " I say as the girls turn around to leave

" Got it ! " Ezrela snaps back

As soon as they were far enough, Alessio stops at the doorframe

" I got you one of these " he says, showing me the transparent cup with the green colored drink...just like Jimin would say

" You got me a matcha? How sweet " I say with a smile

Even though I just got one one hour ago now, but I'll never refuse a matcha

Alessio gets completely in the room and puts the iced drink on my desk as he takes a seat on the empty chair

" Lorraine told me that the mansion was beautiful, did it reach your expectations? "

He leans backwards as he crosses his arms around his chest, toned and tanned...and muscular

I almost burst in laughter again as I remember when Jimin told me that he was muscular

He had to meet Alessio then

But I suppress my desire to laugh but my cheeks flushed a little at the thought of the good moment we just shared

" Yes, it wasn't bad " he responds simply

That's so Alessio, there would be no further compliment

" How is your day so far? " He asks me

And now I really couldn't help but smile

" It was...great " I say in a low voice

He looks at me with a frown

He knows me too well and he can see right through my emotions, and today I kinda hate it

I didn't want anyone to see how delighted I was

" I thought you didn't like being alone in the office, If I knew you would've been this happy on your own, I wouldn't cut the visit earlier to come back with the team "

" You cut the visit earlier because of me? " I ask, amused

He shrugs

" Now I regret it "

I laugh , amused

" I don't like being alone and I'm glad you're back, the reason of my happiness has nothing to do with the office actually "
