"Can we go to the amusement park?" Lili asked, handing me my tiffin as Dad and I were about to leave for the office. Dad was already in the car.
"Yes," I said, kissing her cheek.
"Can we take Mom, Dad, and Ruby too?" she asked, her eyes hopeful.
I smiled. "Of course," I replied.
"Bye!" she said cheerfully.
"Bye," I replied, walking out of the house.
It was my birthday, and yet here I was, heading to the office. But today, I had an important meeting I couldn’t miss. Lili had encouraged me to go to work today, as she was at home working on an assignment.
I got in the car and started driving.
When I arrived at the office, I was greeted by my employees holding bouquets of flowers and cards. I smiled as they wished me a happy birthday. My cabin was filled with flowers, greeting cards, and various gifts. Many business partners came by to greet me, and I felt truly appreciated.
Today was a good day, and I couldn’t help but enjoy it.

"Beautiful," I murmured, smiling at Lili, who was standing in front of me in an adorable frock, looking absolutely stunning.
"Go inside," Dad said from behind me. Lili opened the door, and I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
"Yes," I replied, a bit hesitant, before stepping inside and sitting on the sofa. Lili brought us water, and I took a sip.
"Thank you," I said to her with a smile.
"I’ll get freshened up, then we can head out," Dad said, heading inside.
"I’ll get ready too," I said to Lili before going to our room.
Once inside, I noticed a neatly laid-out outfit: a white T-shirt, a dark blue coat, and jeans. I smiled, knowing Lili had chosen it for me. I took the clothes to the washroom, had a quick shower, and changed.
Looking at myself in the mirror, I felt a sense of satisfaction. The outfit looked great. I quickly styled my hair, put on some cologne, and went out to join the family.
