The deep blue sea painted yellowish orange, as night ascended, it turned dark void of any light – even the moon and the stars failed to shine.

In the park, two people met in secret. One was a girl with long black hair, and the other a boy with a sharp gaze.

After Ayanokouji’s departure, Horikita Suzune couldn't contain herself as she's filled with worries. Only one person could help her to ease her mind, but she's scared by his existence, but even so, she contacted him.

“Nii-san… is– what happened to Ayanokouji-kun?” her voice was weak, yet she still mustered the courage to meet his gaze.

Manabu was silent. Staring intently at his little sister, trying to comprehend the small changes of Suzune, comparing her old self from her current one.

In the past, she would show no interest, especially compassion to other people. She's only focused on her own, fighting on her own, standing against all odds on her own. Yet today, she inquired about someone, even showing a faint resistance telling that she wouldn't stop until he answered.

A thin smile sported on his lips, ‘She totally changed.’

“We took him to the student council office for questioning, but he didn't cooperate,” he sighed. “So we decided to lock him up in his room until further notice then your teacher visited and told us that she came to pick him up on Chairman Sakayanagi’s orders.”

Suzune's eyes lit up. The incident happened after Chabashira-sensei’s class, everyone still had enough to chat about it but none found the courage to do so; even her classmates, specifically Yamauchi and Ike, were silent on their seats, and Ayanokouji’s close friends had their heads down. Only Kushida was somewhat uneased, she constantly checked the door and large sweat could be seen on her forehead.

“Does it mean that he's safe?”

He nodded, “Even though he caused such a scene, we still haven't covered up all the stories, and can't punish indiscriminately.” he paused, Suzune released a sigh of relief hearing his first statement. “But, he clearly overdid it.”

Manabu’s expression turned grave, his hands clenched, holding back his rage. “I’m aware that it's impossible to not sustain any injuries in a brawl, but based on the other threes injuries, he only did enough damage to knocked them out, yet he mercilessly pummeled Ryuuen, in front of everyone’s eyes, even though he was already out cold, he still continued.”

Suzune looked away, she understood her older brother's feelings. Ayanokouji already won, he already saved Nino from harm, and Manabu already arrived to do his role. There was no need to continue it further. It was no longer a brawl, but straight-up bullying. In front of everyone, – including the student council – they all were witnessed of his pure cruelty.

“... Ayanokouji-kun will be severely punished right? Nii-san?” she already knew of the answer, yet still wanted to hear his confirmation.

Manabu fixed his glasses, looked down and answered, “Not only would he be punished, but expelled.”

Suzune’s eyes widened, her shocked confusion clearly written on her face, “Why?!”

“This information is still confidential, but I trust you that you will keep it to yourself,” she firmly nodded. “When we delivered Ryuuen to the infirmary, the school nurse’s said that his life was in a critical state, and needed immediate care. It's likely that he would end up in a coma… After that, she took over, and will refer Ryuuen to another hospital for further treatment.”

Only a few students saw Ryuuen’s unrecognizable face up-close, among them were Manabu and his subordinates. They couldn't perfectly describe how bad it was; his eyes were buried deep in his eye socket, his nose broken, teeth falling off or crushed, both external and internal bleeding, and his skull was slightly reshape. It's like Ayanokouji treated him as a literal punching bag.
