„Did you pack yet?" Joe said as he tossed some of his clothes into his suitcase.
„Partially." She said, turning to her other side, denying to get out of the bed.
„Babe, our flight is in 2 hours." He said, pulling the covers from Ann.
„No!" She squealed, yanking it back. „I'm not done sleeping. And the flight is in 4 hours."
„What?" He frowned. „It's 9 am, so that means two hours."
She sat up on the bed with a mischievous smile. „Four. I postponed it."
He raised his eyebrows and sat on the side of the bed next to her. „You wanted to stay a little longer?" He said with a smile as he fixed her messy hair.
„That too. But..." She stood up and clapped her hands. „I have a surprise for you."
„A surprise?" He grinned.
„Yes." Ann giggled. „Go get ready."
After about half an hour they were walking out of the house. This time Ann was taking the lead on the Vespa.
„Are you sure you're okay driving?" Joe said as he slid on his helmet, scared for his life.
„Of course!" She said in a high pitched voice, obviously not quite sure if she'll be okay. „Just... tell me where the break is."
„Oh my god, okay, no thank you." He laughed, switching sides with her.
„Oh, come on!" Ann groaned.
„Ann, I wanna live. Please." He chuckled, sitting behind the wheel. „Just tell me where to go."
„Okay..." She sighed, hugging him from behind as they drove off.
Ann kept telling him the direction, until they reached the city, following the little roads.
„Okay, stop here." She said, patting him on the arm.
They took off their helmets and Joe looked around with confusion. They were in the middle of the city, surrounded by mostly random souvenir shops.
„I still have no clue what's going on." He chuckled.
„Okay, close your eyes." She giggled, covering his eyes.
„You're scaring me." He said as she guided him through the street, just around the corner.
„Okay, just a little more... And we're here." She said, taking her hands out of his eyes.
He was facing the street, confused, as he saw just a plain wall in front of him. He felt Ann's hand patting him on the shoulder, making him turn around.
She raised her hands in the air with the biggest smile and Joe's eyes immediately traveled to the signboard above her.
A tattoo studio.
„Ta-daaa!" She spinned around, joy illuminating from her.
„What is happening?" He giggled, unable to hold a smile seeing her so happy.
„That's... another surprise." She winked at him, taking his hand and walking inside.
The place looked like most studios. Dark, edgy, the walls covered in different projects and rock music playing in the background. Behind a desk sat a woman, who immediately grew a smile as she saw them.
„Hello!" She walked up to them, reaching her hand out. „I'm Chiara, nice to meet you." She said with an Italian accent.
„Hey! I'm Ann, this is Joe." She greeted her and then pointed at Joe.
