The next morning, as the scent of breakfast filled the flat, Taehyung flipped pancakes on the stove, the sizzle providing a comforting backdrop. Jungkook sat at the small dining table, pushing around his food, his expression still clouded by the previous day's events. Taehyung took a moment to observe him, his heart aching at how the shadows of fear lingered in Jungkook's eyes.

"Hey, Jungkook," Taehyung said gently, plating the pancakes and setting them down in front of his patient. "I wanted to remind you that we're supposed to have our therapy session today."

Jungkook looked up, his brows furrowing slightly. "Are we still doing that?"

Taehyung hesitated, the weight of his decision pressing on his shoulders. "Actually, I think it might be best if we skip it this week," he suggested. "With Mr. Yoo showing up unexpectedly at my office, I don't want to risk him being there again today and possibly seeing you."

Jungkook's eyes widened, and he nodded without protest. "Yeah, that makes sense. I don't want to see him," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Let's just take a break from it all for now," Taehyung reassured him, attempting to inject some warmth into his words. "We can focus on making you feel safe first."

As they finished breakfast, the sound of rain tapping against the windows began to fill the space. Taehyung grabbed his umbrella and gave Jungkook a soft smile. "I'll be back soon. Try to relax, okay?"

"Okay," Jungkook replied, a hint of appreciation in his tone.

Taehyung stepped out into the rainy morning, the chill in the air sending a shiver down his spine. With his umbrella shielding him from the downpour, he walked briskly toward his office, his mind racing with thoughts of how to best protect Jungkook.

Once he arrived, the warmth of the building contrasted sharply with the dreary weather outside. He wasted no time heading to his office, where he booted up his computer. His heart raced with determination as he pulled up the security footage from the previous day. He navigated through the files, finally locating the clip of Mr. Yoo's visit.

As he watched the footage, Taehyung's eyes narrowed in concentration. The video showed Mr. Yoo walking into the office, his expression deceptively calm, a polite smile on his face. But Taehyung remembered the threatening aura that had filled the room during their encounter. He replayed the footage, searching for any signs of the man's true intentions, but Mr. Yoo was careful - too careful. There were no overt threats, no aggressive body language, and certainly no weapons in sight. Just a man dressed in a suit, talking to Taehyung in a way that seemed perfectly innocuous on the surface.

Taehyung sighed, frustration bubbling beneath his composure. He saved the footage, making an additional copy to send to his private laptop at home. He wanted to be sure that if something happened, he wouldn't lose this evidence. The thought of Jungkook being exposed to that man again sent a jolt of urgency through him.

As the rain pattered softly against the office windows, Taehyung dialled Hoseok's number, his heart racing with anticipation. The phone rang several times before Hoseok finally picked up, but his voice was more serious than usual.

"Hello, Taehyung," Hoseok said, his tone lacking the usual cheerfulness.

"Hey, Hoseok hyung. Thanks for taking my call," Taehyung replied, trying to keep his voice steady.

"Of course," Hoseok said, his curiosity piqued.

"I was thinking about his wife. We need to investigate whether she could be on his side or if she's someone we can trust," Taehyung said. "If she's loyal to him, that complicates things. But if she's unhappy, she might be an ally."
