Days after the session with Jungkook, Taehyung tried to come up with something. As his duty for being suspicious of Jungkook being abused at his own home, he had to, of course, do something about it. He figured on Tuesday, which was tomorrow, he should go earlier from his office and stop by at Jungkook's home. He had his address written in Jungkook's files; he stopped by a coffee shop to buy the family some coffee, and also some hot chocolate for Jungkook (no, he's not treating him like a child: Taehyung was told he doesn't like coffee that much).

After driving for a short time, he arrived at their house. He ringed the doorbell, but it took some time for someone to open the door.

It was Mrs Yoo who greeted the psychologist with a surprised expression. "Dr V, what a surprise," she gasped lightly. "How come you're here?" she asked with folded hands and with a polite bow.

"I wanted to pay you a visit," Taehyung smiled. "May I come in?"

Taehyung could see her hesitation. "Su - Sure."

Mrs Yoo invited him inside where he followed her to the kitchen. "I bought some coffee so I wouldn't come empty-handed, and also some hot chocolate for Jungkookie. I remember you told me he doesn't fancy coffee too much," he smiled. Mrs Yoo smiled slightly back. "Is he home now?"

"Jungkook?" she asked, which Taehyung nodded to. "He's out with my husband at the moment. He wanted the boy to get some exercise so they decided to take a short run together; they should be back at any minute though," she carefully explained. Somehow, the story just didn't convince Taehyung enough for him to believe it. He didn't show his doubt thought. The woman seemed far too nervous to be telling a simple and innocent story about a father and his son. It couldn't be true, he thought to himself.

He sat down with Mrs Yoo by the kitchen table. She looked quite nervous around the psychologist; Taehyung tried to talk comfortably with her, but she seemed too tense to relax.

Not long after the males arrived at the house. When Mr Yoo spotted Taehyung in his lounge, he was surely surprised and was bad at hiding his fake smile he tried to add later to hide his obvious aggression. "Dr V, what a surprise," he said through his gritted teeth. Taehyung was sure it wasn't a good surprise, but he smiled politely at him anyway.

"I hope you don't mind me stopping by," he smiled.

Mr Yoo didn't give up on chasing the unwelcomed male out. "Aren't you supposed to be working now?" he asked, obviously wanting him gone.

Taehyung smiled as he walked up to Jungkook. "I am working now," he said cheerfully. "I decided to stop by to see how Jungkook's doing in his home and what he usually does," he explained simply, leaving the suspiciousness out of the topic.

"You don't have to come here. Everything's fine," Mr Yoo said as he grabbed Jungkook's arm forcefully.

However, Taehyung brought Jungkook closer to him to protect him and make the tense expression on the young boy's face soften. "I'll decide that myself, thank you."

Mr Yoo was obviously offended and looked even angrier, but Taehyung didn't care and started walking around in the house with Jungkook beside him.

"Don't be afraid," he whispered to the young tensed boy, "I won't let anything happen to you as long as I am here."

They went firstly inside Jungkook's room upstairs; everything looked normal for a young male's bedroom, except the windows being blocked with wood and there were no mirrors on the walls.

Taehyung quietly closed the door to Jungkook's bedroom so the two males would be alone without the other two hearing them.

"This is my number, Jungkook. I want you to be able to contact me if needed, so please don't hesitate, all right?" The young male slowly nodded whilst accepting the business paper the elder handed him.

"Everything's all right?" Mr Yoo suddenly came barging in without any warning. It made both of the males to jump gobsmacked and Taehyung automatically glared at him.

"Excuse me, Mr Yoo, but this is a private conversation that you have no right in interrupting. Please leave right away. You're not allowed to be here at the moment," Taehyung strictly told him. Jungkook stared at his foster father with wide eyes, closely watching the man. He almost expected the man to beat up the psychologist, but he didn't and left the room grumpily.

Taehyung nodded satisfied and grinned towards Jungkook. "Can I ask you something?" Taehyung asked seriously. Jungkook didn't answer, but he continued anyway. "I can see there's something wrong here, even if it doesn't appear like that in the appearance, but I can tell from your connection with them. Are they hurting you?" he asked. Jungkook still remained silent. "Please tell me Jungkook. I really need to know to be able to help you." He still didn't say anything, but Taehyung could tell something was wrong. Seriously wrong.

When Taehyung finished scanning the house with his laser-like eyes, he had no other excuse to be there longer and had to go. When he bid them his goodbyes, he decided to give the boy a goodbye hug. "Don't forget to call about anything," he whispered to him, only audible for him. Jungkook nodded subtly in reply, causing Taehyung to flash a big smile before heading back to his own house until he'd return to work the day after.
