It was already weekend; Yoongi came back from his business trip, so the couple invited Taehyung and Jungkook to come with them on a 'double date' on a fine restaurant.
They agreed, although ever since Taehyung and Jungkook's talk a few days earlier, they were a bit awkward around each other. It wasn't exactly how it used to be. They accepted each other. Jungkook accepted Taehyung mistake he regretted deeply and still felt bad over and Taehyung accepted how Jungkook felt as well and that's how they learned to accept each other.
Their relationship, however, was a bit different. On that day, they confessed. Both of them, unintentionally, blurted out their feelings for each other.
Jungkook had fancied Taehyung since he made him open, something no one else could and he felt deeply attracted towards the elder and he liked everything about him.
Taehyung had fancied the younger even before he realised it himself. Jungkook was a young boy that was mature but still had his childish personality at times, he was strong, he was handsome, and everything about him seemed too perfect to be true, especially with his dark past.
These words were the exact same words they said in their confession. Even though they both had already fallen in love, they felt awkward.
It was new to them and they had no idea what to do with each other, and they certainly had no idea what to do. Jimin and Yoongi already knew by now (they obviously promised not to tell anyone) and that was even the reason why they invited them on the double date, so they could try and help the hopeless secret couple.
Taehyung thought most of the reason for their awkwardness was because everything (and he means absolutely everything) they did was forbidden and had to be a secret. Everything Taehyung fantasised with the younger, was strongly against the laws, which made him incredibly nervous. How was the nerd that had never broken a rule before in his entire life suddenly breaking so many at the same time? He could even go to jail if someone could get their hands on his secret and his rumour was definitely going to break if they were to be exposed. But Jungkook is definitely worth the risk.
The awkward males were waiting for the elevator up to the top floor where Jimin and Yoongi were waiting for them. None of them dared to speak up and just let the awkwardness take over.
Taehyung felt responsible about Jungkook's nervousness for being out. "You haven't met Yoongi yet except the time at the café, but I promise he's really nice," Taehyung said, a bit unsure and embarrassed. Why am I so nervous around him suddenly? We already knew we fancied each other and it wasn't awkward then. "He's weird, but a really nice guy."
