Chapter 15: Death
Music: Death to Life by New Life Music

Main Verse: Revelation 21:4 ESV
[4] He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Death is the final destination, and it can be defined as termination of life. Some of us are not yet ready to talk about this.  Who would be happy to talk about death? Nothing, right? But even though it's a serious and unique topic, it's still important to be prepared and by the time we experience it, we've done what we need in our lives.

God doesn't like death, but it is also one of the reasons to keep us away from sin, so that we can be with him in heaven without suffering and pain.

As time went on, I understood more why others persevere and fight for life. Not just to have a luxurious life, but so that even if they are lost in this world, they know that they have done what they wanted in their life. So I am, I also want that before I disappear I can do everything—everything that God wants and plans for me.

But in this part, I will share some verses that are related to death.

We know facing death with our loved ones or friends isn’t easy, it takes time to recover or forget the scenario. Some of us, if it’s our families or partners, we get stressed, anxiety or worse depression. But below, you will read more bible verses that will encourage and strengthen you.

Psalm 9:9
The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble;

Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Isaiah 57:1-2
The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from calamity; he enters into peace; they rest in their beds who walk in their uprightness.

1 Corinthians 15:55
“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”

I also experienced loss, it is really hard but I know God has a purpose why it happened. Death is not totally bad news, most of the time it gives something great news.

God is life. God gives life.  He has a purpose for all the things that have happened to us. I believe that even if something or someone was lost, something good will come or happen. Just like losing my grandmother this year, it hurts because I wasn't even there when she needed me. Yet, I saw my papa and his siblings become closer together.

I thought that when someone died everything falls apart. But this is not applied to anyone, sometimes we are tested to our love, unity and care to each other.

That's why it's really important to value time and give humanity to our loved ones.

Life is lost too fast, just like the time that passes us by. Every moment must be cherished.

No matter what we go through, let's just keep going and always pray to Him. Keep our faith connected with Him.

Remember this scripture, Psalms 118:17, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

There are three (3) things death in the Bible;

1)PHYSICAL DEATH- It means your physical body will die. You have a separation of the soul from the natural body (James 2:26).

2)SPIRITUAL DEATH- It is your separation from God because of sin. (Ephesians 2:1, 5; Isaiah 59:2; Mt. 8:22; Colossians 2:13; 1 Timothy 5:6).

3)ETERNAL DEATH-It means eternal separation from God, because man chooses to be separated to God because of sin.It is also called second death but no one dies. (MAtthew 10:28; 25:41, 46; Revelation 2:11; 14:9-11; 20:11-15; 21:8; 22:15; Isaiah 66:22-24)

We must keep our eyes and faith in Jesus and do not worry. Let’s pray to remove the fear in our hearts, be connected and live your life in the Lord.

All of us will experience death, but dear, while you are here on Earth and breathing. Come to the Lord and spend your time with Him and to your loved ones. You will find great love, joy and even struggles that kill you. You have ways and answers because you are with the Lord.

Because for God’s perspective, death is both menacing and merciful. It has both ending and beginning, pain and joy.

As a believer, I know once I am in His presence, I will not feel the doubt, sorrow or any pain in this Earth, instead joy and unending life.
