Chapter 26: In the Name of Jesus

Main Verse:John 14:13-14 ESV
[13] Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14] If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. 

His name is powerful. He can do anything, His highness is great. Everyone bowed down and praised Him. He is Jesus Christ who died on the cross and risen after three days.

Do you ask anything under His name? Do you already try to call Him because of any emergency in your life?Don’t worry, He is there and always willing to help you. Call upon His name and you will be saved.

When I was young, I was more comfortable to be alone. I’m an introvert, where I am not into socialising and not totally friendly.  But I know how to get along, still I am not quick to trust anyone. Maybe that’s probably why I don't have many friends. It's okay, because I won't think about it and I don't want to get hurt anymore.

Everytime I have a problem, It's not where or what I go to tell about my pain or what I should do. Instead, I pray and talk to God. He is the only one who understands everything. Because of Him, I know that whatever I say is safe.

As I got older, I saw more and more how good God is. It's like whenever I call on Him, He comes immediately. When I make a request, it often comes true.

He rarely disappoints me, there is always a reason for everything when things don't happen. As Christians now, I always rely on His scriptures in Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV) Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. 

This verse says that just call Him and He will answer. Once we build a good relationship with Him, we will see wonderful things. Aside from that, everything is impossible in His name.

Above all, having a relationship with Him is a blessing. He can do all things, so I also believe that whatever I ask in His name will be fulfilled. However, I also know that He has a better plan for us that will still happen.

I am nothing but without Him I can do all things because He gave me strengths, and He is the one why I can carry everything.(Philippians 4:13)

Hardship is everywhere, and every day a lot of ups and downs will be encountered so we need Him. We can’t carry all the burden on our own, because the truth we need Jesus and by His name everything will be fine.

Try to do this, and Jesus will be with you all the time.

If you are afraid, rebuke it in the name of Jesus.
If you are worried, rebuke it in the name of Jesus
If you don’t know what to do, ask in the name of Jesus.
If you need help and guidance, ask in the name of Jesus.
If you want to leave your darkness life, rebuke it in the name of Jesus.
If you want forgiveness, ask in the name of Jesus.
If you want wisdom and understanding, ask in the name of Jesus.
If you can’t hold on to the burdens, rebuke it in the name of Jesus.
If you are stressed in your life, rebuke it in the name of Jesus.
If you want healing from any sickness that you have, rebuke it in the name of Jesus.
If you need financial breakthrough, ask in the name of Jesus.
If you want peace, ask in the name of Jesus.

Everything is in His hands, all we need to do is believe and trust Him. 

He will not abandon us, like those people we think are real, but are just promises to us. In this world, not everything we see and experience is real. In the end, we really need Jesus. In His name, we are safe.

He is the answer to all the storms in our lives. He knows everything, so I am sure that He will not let His children who trust in Him always.

So dear, remember to take care of your relationship with Him. Don't let bad things happen to you and keep you away. When you feel you don’t know if it’s right or not, pray and ask in His name.

Jesus is alive. Jesus loves us. Jesus knows  about us. He is glad everytime we ask, confess and surrender everything that makes us worried and afraid.

There are three (3) concepts about saying in Jesus’ name.

1) ACKNOWLEDGE AND GLORIFY HIS GOODNESS
-Everytime you say His name in an area of your life, whether it is about your physical, mental, emotional and your spiritual. Our Lord feels honor and you build a strong connection with Him.

(2) CLAIMING TRUTH AND POSITIVE VIBES
-Every struggle that we had in our lives, we are getting challenges that affect our four aspects in our life (Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual). We get stressed, somehow if we have the Lord in our lives we declare His presence to be with us. We gain strengths and wisdom from Him. In the end, we carry everything because of Him.

(3) SURRENDER EVERYTHING
-We are ready and trust Him to handle everything in our lives. You gave full authority to the Lord and no matter what happens you are willing to obey and do it. Generally, Jesus our Lord is your strength and source of life.

These three concepts are helpful to all of us. It highlights goodness and leads us to truthful life.

By His name, we are complete, we are forgiven and we are loved. 

He is our shield, and through His name, all things can be accomplished and overcome.

He holds our future. He cares about our lives. 

Don’t be afraid, Jesus is always waiting for us. 

Let’s read another scripture, John 16:24 (ESV)
 Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. 

This verse is saying, all we need is to ask and come to Him. All our sorrow will turn into joy.

No matter what our journey is, let us always make it our priority to come to Him. Let us hear His voice, and feel His calm presence. We will experience true love and peace that is not found in this world.

Calling His name can bring us the power to continue our lives, He guides us every minute, day—always He always thinks of us.

I also wonder why He did it— this kind of love and assurance that He will fulfill everything. Then I found out the answer.

From the bread of life (Bible) John 15:16 (ESV) You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 

His words always align with what we really need. This is absolutely wonderful, the answer is He chose us and appointed us. So whatever we ask in His name, He will give it. 

Ask and call His name, I assure you Jesus has prepared an answer for you.
