Chapter 25: Action Speaks Louder than Words

[18] Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

Not all words are true. Some of them, doing for a purpose or people's ways to be part of the scenario. Expect the unexpected, need to be wise or else, you will be deceived by someone. 

Words can be changed, but the action itself remains forever and can bring trust and respect or not. Whatever you say, it is important what you do—it shows the real you.

Love can show in many ways, it might through words or actions. Somehow, words distract the plans and motive to someone you love. The word is playful, taking you to a paradise where you think you are the only one. There is no bad intention, but when you see the actions. You will know the truth and the true part of who he/she is.

But let's admit that sometimes everything we say doesn't match our actions, there are many reasons behind it that we need to hide as much as possible.

In the long run, the voice inside us is always hidden, some of us value the others instead of fighting for the truth. 

I hope we don't give too much importance to what people say. Let's also think more about what God would think, let's match our words to our actions. 

Because in every action we take, our heart and intention towards the person or something we do becomes more visible. Often, when we just focus on our words, the love and appreciation for God, ourselves, loved ones, and dreams also disappear and we might forget who we are.

There is nothing wrong with saying nice things, but it is better if they are also matched by action. Because who will harvest the fragrant flowers if the fruit is rotten? It seems that in the end, we are only fooling ourselves and trying to hide our true colors.

In Christian, words and action must be in one. Like scripture says, James 2:17 (ESV)
So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

This is true! If we want to have results and see our faith progress, let show works for it— don’t say a lot if we can prove it. The harsh ending will be nothing and we are wasting our time.

In this world, in every corner I know a lot of words we hear that most of the time, we don’t know the truth. Often, people introduce themselves with their beautiful words. But you get to know their whole selves better when you spend more time with them, and you see their actions.

Like us Christians, when we do nothing for our faith we just fulfill a lot of beautiful words. We will always be weak, in every problem, our solution is to give up.

Let's admit that we always base everything on words. When we see the wrong, that's when we notice the action. We first have to stumble or get hurt to wake up and learn the truth. Life is always giving us tons of hardship that words make us inspired. Yet, once we see and understand, we can say “Actions must up and show.”

It's better to be known for who you are because of your actions, than to be a good speaker but unable to prove what you said to everyone.

Because the people around you can believe what you say. Still, some of us want to prove actions understand the wholeness. We need to find clarity and make it even if it is hard.

That's why there are lines like "Believe in your abilities and improve." Works create chaos in two ways: inspiration and motivation.

Inspiration is caused by action that we continue to act and make all the people see the positive outcome.

Motivation is the result of our inspiration of workness. We continue to do better things and let others know that our motives are good.

I know it is hard to do— to show what is needed and what our hearts long for. Dear, don’t be a pretender to someone you loved or to those around you. Show the real you, speak with power and connect it to your actions.

Your actions are much needed, it will be a memory while your words, it can be harmful to anyone.

So it's good to think before doing. Because even if you change, the words you say will never erase the cracks left behind. So whenever you feel love, let's do it with more actions.

Let your act be the highest after all, while your words hold it with sincere detail to it. Always allow God to our lives, more of Him and less of us so we can have a balanced way of living on this Earth.

Enough for all the  fights and being selfish, stand for who you are, speak with boldness, act with truth.

Focus on yourself, lift up again your faith with the Lord.
