Chapter 23: Radical Love
Music: Radical Love Victory Worship

Main Verse: Luke 6:27-28 ESV
[27]  “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, [28] bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.

Everything you do, you put love. Every word that comes from your mouth, it will happen and proves your promises with your provided blessings.  And when we are surrounded by darkness, there is a great Lord who found us. His name is Jesus. Who came here to save us with His radical love.

God’s love is unconditionally, no limit and overflowing. From that, it makes a radical love, extending the kindness and understanding and gratitude.

Do you know the story of Jesus Christ?
He was given by God the Father to us, having a human body to carry out His mission. A mission full of love and salvation for all mankind.

He suffers a lot, painfully, brutally and terribly. He made all the sacrifices because it is for us. Take note, this is not just because of the command of His Father, it is great and amazing love.

What a beautiful love, right? Who among us wants to die, just for the sin of all? No one! But Jesus did it. He died because He loved us and also, He wanted us to be saved.

Scripture says, Jeremiah 31:3 the Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.

His love is great above all. Everything He has done so far is for us. It's sad to think that others don't know this. But the good news is, "He loves you, and He is ready to accept you no matter who you are."

If we want to experience His radical love, we need to seek Him and have a transformative experience of God’s power in our lives.

As we live on this earth, let's love one another even if it is hard. Let's just do it for the Lord and accept who they are. Stop comparing and pretending.

I want to share some five (5) radical love that I know will help and understand us as well.

1. LOVE IS THE FIRST PRESENCE OF ALL- It means love is everywhere. Whatever we do, let love shine on us. Even life is hard and full of pain, let love embrace you. Allow the love to captivate your soul. It will help you to do the things better, but hold your emotions.

(1 Corinthians 13:4-8a)
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends".

The love that talks about here is love coming from God where it is patient and kind. There is no expectation of anything in return, it is enough for you to see his smile or happiness and safety.

2.GOD IS LOVE- No matter what happens, God is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever. He is the God of love.

Scripture says,  (1 John 4:8)  Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

The true definition of love is GOD. Because after all, we have connected to Him and it was about Him.

3.) HE LOVE US AND IT WILL NOT CHANGE ANYMORE- No matter who we are, or what our status is. He loves us. His love never changes, He loves us more than we love Him.

Even though we are the ones who are difficult to love because of our behavior. Still, God knows His child and the love He has for us will not change. Even though we don’t have capacity for loving Him back, still His willingness is there.

Scripture says, (1 John 4:19 ) We love because he first loved us.

We are loved not the last, but we are loved first by the Lord.

4.LOVE IS SACRIFICIAL- Love can do anything. It can do the impossible. It asks for nothing in return and is willing to sacrifice everything. Like Jesus did on the cross of calvary. He died because He loved us.

Scripture says, (2 Corinthians 5:19)
that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

(John 3:16) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus' love is amazing and it was sacrificial, it fulfils us especially once we have a connection with Him.

5. LOVE HAS A QUALITY NOT AN EMOTION- This is just a common line “Easy to say but hard to do.” If we take a deep about this common line, we can see that it's just about our personality. Love is not just about emotions, but it needs to be seen in its truth and entirety.

True love is unparalleled, its very quality is superior. The kind when you feel it, you know what He is showing is true.

The best love is coming from the Lord, maybe we can't see Him face to face but it is more than emotion. It is the best quality that we want to experience with Him.

The love coming from the heart. The best example of this, Jesus teaching to His disciple that always love your enemies.

Apparently, He wants us to see the events around us, whether difficult or easy. Reminding us that, Let's still do it with love.

Scripture says, (1 John 4:12 ESV)  No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

God’s love is perfect even though we are imperfect. Still, His love is everlasting to those who believe in Him.
