Chapter 18: The 3T’s of Life
Music:Let’s Go by Planetshakers

Main Verse: Matthew 25:14-30
Highlight Verse: Matthew 25:29 ESV
[29] For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

All of us have different talents. It can be physical, emotional, mentally, spiritually or sometimes you are having social skills. But it depends on us how we value and practice it. Talents can be seen in a particular activity or sometimes it is an innate or inborn gift, or most of the time talents show when we try and practice it. So, whatever we have, let’s value the time and treasure our talents.

In my journey, I don’t know what my real talents are.

I thought that I really didn't have the ability to do anything. But it's wrong, I have to explore to know the talent I have. Over time, I found that I had a talent for writing. It started with poetry, until I tried different categories.Like;  essay, novels, flash fiction, short story, prose and many more. But it takes time to know the ability that I have in writing. Still, I loved doing it.

Because when you love what you do, you continue and try something else that is connected to your talent.

As you continue to struggle, you will get to know yourself better and what you are capable of doing. As you discover things that you thought were possible, you will also see the difficulty and value of those things.

My talents are already inborn, it just stuck so I practice and continue learning from it. It's not easy because sometimes you lose motivation, but you'll come back and go back to where you came from.

During my hardship, I already know Jesus in my life and I am still pursuing my writing. Yet, I was already in love with music, somehow I stopped practicing guitar and singing. However, I still thanked God and acknowledged His gifts for me.

Because there are things that are difficult to stand. But you still have to try and go back to remember and recognize it.

Living in this world isn’t easy, I know all of us that every day have our own battles that need to be conquered. But you know, time is gold and we must do better things. As a Christians, I learned to value it and have a moment with God, because at the end of the day, I will come before Him and ask His help.

God is great, and He is the reason why I loved writing. He taught me a lot that time, treasure and talents must have one goal. These 3Ts have aligned their needs and priorities.

One of my best scripture in the book of Luke says, Luke 12:34 ESV, For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

It is true, indeed! Our hearts are always in, whatever we value, our heart knows it. We always want to do it because it makes us happy. But it is also important that God's will is our treasures in our lives.

There are 3Ts in our lives;

The Time that we spend, don't focus on worldly things. Let's look forward and give time with the Lord. Always puts God first, because our relationship with Him will grow more and we will know His good plan for us. (Jeremiah 29:11)

I know we are busy with many things, but our life will be much better if we are balanced and we know that the Lord is above all.

The Treasure means something we store or appreciate. We all value something, it can be material things, memories or promises. Whatever it is, what the Lord has done in our lives is better. Let's treasure our relationship with Him, because no matter what happens in our lives, He is the only one who can help us— at all times.

Even if we are given any kind of treasure, like money or luxury in life, I hope we don't be blinded but still be a good person and let the Lord be our lean. (Matthew 6:19-21)

Share all the things that you have, and be honest in giving your tithe. As Christian, this is hard but the blessings will overflow and God is not based on the amount, instead on your kind heart.

The Talents, all of us can reveal their own knowledge and skills that they have but few of them can offer this to the Lord.

When people know their abilities, they often become selfish or based only on the people who are there for Him. But I hope that we still give the trust that God has given us, the gift or blessings to Him. Let's do what is right for His glory.

These 3Ts remind all of us Christians that God is really good. He knows our needs and He provides it, but then stop being evil doers, we should return them to Him. Not to think about the responsibility, but to be grateful for His goodness to all of us.

If you read this, don't feel any fear or doubt. Ask God what you can offer to Him. Your Time, Talents and Treasure are great things to Him.

Likewise dear, allow Jesus into your life. Allow Him to control anything, promise all the 3Ts (Time, Treasure and Talents) will be easy and remarkable on you.
