— oh death violent and bloody

look how you maimed that body

look how the blood, warm and red

shines brightly till the very end —

Kim's body was struck with the kind of bone-burning pain he had never felt before. It went from the curled toes on his feet to the hair on top of his head. It paralysed him for a moment. It was as if flames suddenly ignited inside of him... so excruciating that the only thing that kept him going was that bloody bastard Richard Moore, laughing like a maniac, a winning glint in his eyes as the tip of his sabre was sticking out of Chay's chest, blood dripping down... drip, drip, drip... its sound so loud, echoing in Kim's ears like it wanted to carve itself into his skull for the rest of the eternity.

He moved fast. Perhaps, he had never moved faster in his life. One part of him wanted to get to Chay before his body would drop to his knees, wanted to hold Chay tightly and tell him that everything was going to be alright. But the second part of him, the violent and furious, wanted to cut Richard into pieces, wanted to viciously rip him open, pull out all his guts, and throw them to fish. Cut his head off... do everything for Richard to die the most painful death!

But he wasn't fast enough. Before he could reach Chay, Richard pulled his sabre out, Chay's body started dropping down, but it never touched the wooden body of the ship... rather it just... disappeared.

Kim let out a painful scream full of anger and threw himself at Richard, who was just standing there, looking flabbergasted at the exact spot Chay should have been but wasn't anymore. Richard had no idea what just happened. And Kim feared that he didn't know either because there were two options. Chay suddenly time travelled in time back to his century mortality wounded, or... he was simply gone. And they failed. And the next time Kim were to wake up, it would be before he ever met Chay. And everything... everything would have to happen all over again.

But at that moment, right in front of Richard, Kim ignored all his thoughts, all those options. All he saw was blood and Richard... the bloody bastard who was going to die in mere seconds.

Kim flicked his wrist, and the sharp tip of his sabre cut across Richard's chest, leaving behind a thin bloody trail on Richard's royal uniform.

At that, Richard finally snapped back to his senses, but it was too late. Kim was unstoppable. He cut and cut, stabbed and stabbed, tearing open Richard's chest, stomach, and then even his neck. Blood was pouring almost from every part of Richard's body. He was backing away from Kim towards the edge of the ship, and no one... not even a soul did anything to stop Kim. Everyone just stood there, watching in horror as if they had never seen anything more terrifying in their life.
