Lana's mouth fell open, her expression frozen between shock and disbelief. "Are you fucking serious?! All these years...?!"

I nodded, the words coming slower now. "He's almost 21, and Dad's been supporting him all along, but he kept it from Mom until a few years ago when he turned 18. And... well, you can imagine how that went."

Lana shook her head, a bitter laugh escaping her lips. "Oh, I can more than imagine. That explains so much—why she's been pushing even harder about Siwon and the company. She's trying to shut down any chance of Dad involving him. This isn't about Siwon or you, or even Jungkook. She sees him as a threat."

"Exactly," I agreed softly, not at all surprised that she was so easily putting the pieces together. "She's terrified of losing her grip on the company, on us, on everything. And now that she knows about him? She's not just trying to shut it down—she's trying to control every last detail, like she always does."

Lana let out a slow breath, her fingers brushing absently against the edge of her chair. "So, Dad's been hiding a whole other life from us. And Mom's... well, being Mom, taking it out on everyone else instead of dealing with it." She paused, the weight of it all settling between us. "Honestly, the last thing I expected to hear today was that we have a brother. I don't even know what to say or how to feel about it," she admitted after a long pause. "Angry? Betrayed? Confused? Or just... fucking exhausted? Sadly, I can't say I'm all that shocked." She shook her head. "It's like every time I think we've hit rock bottom with them, there's an even lower level."

"I know right," I reached across the small table to place my hand in hers. "I didn't expect it or know how to process it all either. I also didn't want to take the responsibility off of him to tell you himself, but I couldn't keep something like that from you. You deserved to know. We both deserved to know long before now."

Lana squeezed my hand, nodding, her lips curving into a small, sad smile. "Thanks for telling me, Ari. Because of course I would have killed you if you didn't." She managed a soft laugh, but it was fleeting, barely masking the uncertainty lingering in her eyes. "I don't know what to make of it yet, but... thanks."

"Of course. I could never know something like that and not tell you." She was quiet for a beat, and I let her have that moment to digest what I'd just told her. She leaned back in her chair, her expression unreadable as she tried to process everything.

A soft chime rang out, signaling it was time for our next treatment. A spa attendant led us into another room lit by soft amber lights, the faint scent of lavender lingering in the air. Lana and I each slipped into a chair right next to each other and dipped our feet into the hot bubbling water beneath.

Lana leaned back with a sigh, her head tilting toward me as the technicians began to work. "I want to believe that Dad will stand up to her this time, and actually try to make things right... with all of his kids. Really, I do." She paused briefly, shaking her head. "But I've spent so many years building this life—keeping my family safe from all their toxicity, manipulation, and bullshit. It's hard to imagine letting him back in without it blowing up in my face."
