The terrace was quiet except for the soft crash of waves in the distance. The morning sunlight stretched across the ocean, illuminating it with a soft, gilded brilliance. My mat was warm beneath me as I lifted my arms above my head and drew in a deep breath, holding it for a moment before releasing it in a long, measured exhale. My hands rested in prayer position as I let the peace from the final moments of my yoga session settle into my body, feeling a deep sense of calm, which had been a rarity after the whirlwind of the past few days and weeks.

Coming down off the high of an indulgent, slow-burning morning wrapped in tangled sheets and soft-spoken promises with my super hot soon-to-be hubby, I knew I couldn't just spend the entire day lost in the afterglow, no matter how tempting it was. Eventually, Jungkook had dragged himself to the gym, leaving me to have a much-needed conversation with my sister.

The suite was still quiet when I'd emerged from our little love nest, giving me the perfect opportunity to take to my yoga mat and center myself for the day. Those few moments of solitude had felt like a gift. And now, with my breath steady, my thoughts clear, and my emotions more settled, I felt ready to talk to Lana. Or at least, more ready than I had felt before.

She must have sensed something. Or maybe, like always, her timing was just... impeccable because no sooner than I'd reached down to roll up my yoga mat, the sound of the sliding door caught my attention. My sister stepped out onto the terrace in a plush robe, her hair still damp, carrying two steaming mugs. Swirls of heat drifted from the cups, mingling with the fresh morning air.

"Morning gorgeous... figured you'd need one of these," she smiled, offering me a cup of tea.

"Aww thanks, just what I needed. You're spoiling me now, you know? Looks like I've got some competition for best sister of the year." I teased, taking the mug and cradling it in my hands, grateful for the gesture. The warm, spicy scent of ginger wafted up, and I closed my eyes briefly, breathing it in.

"Honey... puh-lease," she smirked with a playfully flippant hand gesture, sinking into one of the chairs at the table. "I've already had best sister in the bag for years. But now, since you had to go and try to show me up for my birthday, I have to up my game if I wanna keep my spot.

"And anyway, the boys are still asleep. So, I've got a bit of extra time to play catch up by spoiling my favorite sister and my little niece or nephew to secure my place as best auntie, too. Although, I'm really hoping it's a niece cus I'm literally drowning in testosterone over here." She curled her fingers around her mouth as she leaned closer and spoke directly to my stomach, her voice softer now. "You hear that little one? It's your Auntie Lana. Please, please, pleeeeease be a girl."

I giggled softly, shaking my head as I sat down and rested a hand over my belly, wondering if she would get her wish. I'd decided that it didn't matter what the gender was. I only cared that my baby was healthy and happy. But after spending this past day or two with my nephews, I could definitely feel Lana's pain. Besides, girls are super cute. You can dress them up in tiny dresses and little bows. Not that I was the type to obsess over that kind of thing... but still.
