JUNGKOOK

The ocean breeze swept past as we walked hand in hand along the sandy path. The tiki torches flickered in the twilight, their soft flames guiding us toward the setup ahead. I glanced at my fiancée, her fingers curling a little tighter around mine as the enchanting beachfront scene unfolded before us.

A large round table, adorned with elegant linens, stood at the center of the sand, framed by string lights that draped overhead like stars brought to earth. Handwritten notes rested on each sister's plate, a personal touch that reflected their shared stories and unique identities. The rhythmic sound of waves meeting the shore intertwined with the gentle strums of a ukulele in the background.

On one side, Aria's understated elegance set the tone. Lavender and white roses were nestled in a simple, graceful bouquet, their soft petals glowing gently against the cool backdrop of the ocean. Everything about her half of the table was calming, refined, and exuded a quiet kind of beauty that captivated you—the same way Aria always does so effortlessly.

Beside her, Lana's setting was every bit as bold and unapologetic as she was. Soft pink and white roses climbed in a loose, flowing arrangement, paired with gleaming rose gold accents that added a touch of luxury. Her half of the table sparkled in the firelight, glamorous without overwhelming the scene. Together, the table told the story of their bond: different in style but perfectly complementary, just like the sisters themselves.

As the four of us took our seats, the last traces of sunlight faded, giving way to the cool embrace of evening, with deep blues and silvers sweeping across the sky. The world felt quieter here. I glanced at Aria again, her lips curving into a soft smile as she took it all in.

"Babe, this is... magical." Her tone was hushed but filled with awe.

And she was right—it was. But only because she was here to share it.

Lana leaned toward Aria, her gaze tracing the table's intricate details. "It truly is," she agreed softly before shifting her attention to me, her expression earnest. "Jungkook, I can see the love and care you put into this—it's... incredible."

I gave a small nod, glancing toward Amir. "Well, I had a little help," I admitted, a hint of gratitude in my tone as Amir acknowledged the comment with a subtle smile.

The first few moments of the evening felt like a picture-perfect escape—the twilight sky deepening into shades of violet, the crescent moon casting faint luminescence over the shimmering ocean.

Aria's dad arrived just as the first round of drinks was served, stepping onto the sand wearing a perfectly tailored beige linen stand-collar double-breasted shirt with matching trousers, the soft fabric shifting subtly with each step. His air of quiet authority felt slightly at odds with the casual beach setting. Yet, there was a hint of uncertainty in his expression, as if unsure how to navigate a moment that wasn't entirely his. A small gift bag hung from his hand, and his gaze swept the table before landing on the two women at its center.
