one month later

Karishma deeply sighed looking at the bath tub, Haseena and Arshad just went for their swimming lessons and as it's a Saturday she has ample of time to relax before they come back, and with Haseena looking after Arshad she can finally let her guard down.

"Finally," Karishma said keeping the book she started a month ago but only managed to read through the first 70 pages beside the tub.

She entered the hot waters, relaxing herself into the aromatic waters, the essential oils and scented candles working their magic. It's been long since Karishma relaxed herself, Saturday being the only day she can spend with Arshad, she chose the whole day to be around him but Haseena's return gave the much-needed break to her fatigued soul.

Now Saturdays are days to relax for both Karishma and Arshad, they leisurely lay around the house watching movies, playing board games, reading comics or gardening, of course Karishma squeezes in his homework knowing well his Ammi is not going to do that the next day. Haseena shifted her off to Sunday, making sure their son spends his weekends with his mothers.

While Karishma makes sures Arshad relaxes on Saturday, Haseena makes sure to make the Sunday the most happening, from swimming lessons, to picking up Karishma for a quick lunch or movie, or ditching Karishma- 'the fun police' and spend the entire evening in a play zone. Karishma's alarm buzzed bringing her out of her thoughts, draining the tub she washed off the remnants with a quick shower, she was patting herself dry when she heard the door of the bathroom opening, frowning she quickly wrapped the towel around her.

Haseena who just entered the bathroom stood still looking into the mirror, she heard friction of fabric, normally one wouldn't notice but a trained ear like Haseena's couldn't miss it. She quietly leaned in, her left hand searching under the sink.

Karishma moved the shower curtain only to find a gun pointing at her, she gasped raising her hands to her mouth, and her movement was enough for her towel to glide down gracefully pooling around her legs, leaving her at the mercy of the intruder.

On the other side, Haseena stood stupefied in an attractive swimsuit, her hands raised pointing the gun at a naked and startled Karishma. Haseena's mouth went dry; her eyes intoxicated by the beauty before her.

"Haseena!" Karishma shouted trying to bring a lost Haseena back and quickly picked up the towel covering herself.

"Sorry" Haseena mumbled still staring at her without a blink

"Can you please keep that thing aside" Karishma glared at her, as a bright pink blush adorned her cheeks

"I... I am sorry" Haseena quickly lowered her gun, "I thought it was an intruder" she explained, her ears pink in embarrassment

"Why do you have a gun in our bathroom?" Karishma shot an angry glance

"An old habit I picked up during the mission. If you live in a mansion full of gangsters undercover, you'll start planting guns for your safety" Haseena nervously scratched the back of her ear

Karishma's expression softened at the explanation; her heart pained every time Haseena spoke of the dangers she lived with during the mission

"You should have knocked" Karishma sighed

"I would, if I knew you were here. How come you didn't lock the door?" Haseena frowned

"An old habit," Karishma sheepishly smiled, "Arshu always had to see me first after he woke up during his infancy. I think after he started walking, once I was in the bath and he woke from an afternoon nap and cried a lot, I was not able to hear it due to the shower. God! It was a nightmare to make him stop, then I explained to him to search in the bathroom and since then I left it unlocked. He stopped searching for me slowly but my habit stuck around," she sadly smiled, "and we don't have other people in our house to barge in like this and point a gun to my head" She glared at Haseena.
