While it was wonderful for Jennie to live in New York as the managing director of a mega size company, things couldn't just go smoothly the way she wanted. Jennie Kim was a city girl, born in Beverly Hills of Los Angeles, grew up in Manhattan, New York City, and had never been to anywhere other than California and New York. She didn't particularly hate villages, but even during her holiday vacations, she still went to cities instead of towns--Tokyo instead of Kyoto, Jakarta instead of Bali, and Milan instead of Venice. She just never thought she could be a part of that life, because living in the big city was always a huge part of her life and personality.

That way of living was such a norm until December 11th came. It was right two weeks before Christmas and the first snow just happened to fall on New York--which was crazy, but climate change really made the first winter snow happened just two weeks before that celebration. Jennie was sitting by the window of her office in that huge skyscraper everyone wondered what it had inside. The air was cold and she was sipping some latte to warm her heart and body up. Chaeyoung, her assistant emerged to her office, panting like she was being chased by a murderer.

"Woah, woah, calm down, you there," Jennie said, standing up, lending Chaeyoung her handkerchief to wipe her sweat off. "What happened?"

"Big news."

"What news?"

"Our cotton supply farm in Texas.. Whitehaven.. they're closing."

No one could draw the shock Jennie's face. She was a fashion company managing director and it just happened for her supplier relation coordinator to be deported back to Canada.

"The president specifically asked for you to handle this while HR is searching for supplier relation coordinator," added Chaeyoung. Her eyes were lifeless and hopeless. "Your place will be taken over by First Vice President Lisa for these two weeks. President Yang expected you to finish this as quick as possible."

Jennie knew that there was no choice left than for her to go to Texas and save her company. Well, she actually did not have to do that, but she needed to save her face in front of the President of the company and the investors after the huge financial problem she caused for not listening to the financial advisors during this year's autumn. So, she did.

With the last of her prayers, she drove all the way to rural Texas in hopes of keeping the farm open. She really was clueless on what to do since she never had any education or training on how to handle suppliers before, so she relied on her instincts and the knowledge the people around her had passed. Jennie couldn't think of anything else but to save this farm.

In a miserable turns of events, Jennie's car broke down.

"Ah great, now I don't have signal and there's no one in this long ass road to help me."

Downhearted, Jennie just sat on the side of the road. Her SUV's engine covers were opened, but she still couldn't find the source of the trouble. She also checked for her petrol level and her tires, yet she couldn't see what was wrong. Her Porsche Cayenne was wrecked and there was nothing she could do. Therefore, she just sat, at loss of all optimism and in severe despair.

Suddenly, a sedan appeared and stopped by. A beautiful woman stepped out of that black Mercedes S-class, looking elegant and appealing. But, her southern accent caught Jennie off.

"Aight, what ya have here, dear?"

"I don't know, ma'am. I came here all the way from New York and suddenly the car wouldn't work with me anymore."

"New York? I reckon that's real far," she replied, "Well, I tell ya what, get in my car and I'll call the towing services."

"I tried, but--"
