What Jennie didn't know was Chaeyoung was actually in love with her and her "pick up lines practice" was just a way so she could subtly flirt with Jennie without the consequences of being awkward afterwards. What Chaeyoung didn't know was that Jennie liked Chaeyoung's super cheesy pick up lines, only because it was Chaeyoung who said it and the flirting had lead her on into something she reckoned as being head over heels towards the other although she was risking her life to hide her true feelings. What both didn't know of the other made these all complicated and strange. They were all in all lovely, but they were also equally clueless, stupid, and completely oblivious.

It all started when a couple months ago, Chaeyoung's Instagram feeds started showing her funny and cheesy pick-up lines along with flirting methods. Chaeyoung, who had been single all her life, was eager to use it, probably it could get her to date someone finally. Her roommate, Jennie, was her only target since she was one of the only people who was single, got along so well with her, and the only one who was always in a close proximity with her. So, Chaeyoung begged Jennie, on her knees, to be her practice partner. Jennie just laughed it off, saying she wouldn't mind, since casual flirting was something she had always handled and tackled very well since she was a teenager. She also thought that it would help her ease her mind and probably take her mind off her diabolical amount of assignments from her absurd professors by a little, at least. Surely enough, days and weeks went by.

And they ended up flirting back and forth on their way to the campus, with all red face not because of embarrassment but the comical timing of everything.

At another casual occasion, Chaeyoung would be sitting by the edge of the bed, and she would randomly ask Jennie who was typing her work on her desk how she would rearrange the alphabet if she had the chance. Jennie just looked at Chaeyoung in confusion. "Well, I would put I and U together," added Chaeyoung quickly. Another smile curved on Jennie's lips.

"If you were a vegetable, you would be cute-cumber," said Chaeyoung while they were preparing salad for dinner. "And if you were a condiment, you would be salt, because you're sodium fine," flirted Jennie back, as she cut her chicken pieces. Chaeyoung and Jennie would go shopping at times and the comments would fly in whenever Jennie tried on something new. "I hope you know CPR, because you just took my breath away."
