Chaeyoung just knew she had to take a break from her life when the worst day of it all just happened. Well, it was just a random Tuesday, but suddenly her shower head just fell of right while she was washing her hair and started bursting with brown water. Then, her hot coffee was too hot that it fell from her hand to wet her boots and stained her white pants. At college, her laptop and tab wouldn't turn on so she couldn't take notes of the lecture and her assignment got too crinkled to the point that her professor returned it to her to redo it. On her walk to her work, a bird pooped on her hair. To make matters worse, she got screamed by a customer and then got laid off at work. When she went home, a wild dog started chasing her to her apartment and so she arrived at her apartment panting, which was even worse again when her elevator didn't work so she had to walk the emergency stairs to her unit in the seventeenth floor. At the end of the day, nothing could prepare her for her entire building to be sealed at midnight because someone got murdered, as if her day could not get any worse.

On the verge of tears,  a hero--Jennie--called Chaeyoung.

"Hey, girl!"

"Hi.." Chaeyoung was tired. She didn't know if she could get up again by the next day for she was merely exhausted.

"You alright, Chae Chae? You sound really.."

"I'm fine," interrupted Chaeyoung, "It's just a minor inconvenience." It wasn't a minor inconvenience when there were literal blaring noises of police and ambulance sirens at the background. "What's up?"

"Uh, I was just thinking that starting tomorrow, you'll have a week off college, right?"

"Yeah," replied Chaeyoung. "Though I'm not sure if--"

"Great! I have a ticket to Bali for tomorrow and I'm not sure if I could refund it--but I could change the name on it--so I'm wondering if you would go for me? It comes with a four star hotel reservation for a week and I'll give you some allowance, maybe like three hundred bucks, for the vacation. There's been.. a lot coming up these past few days and I don't think I can go for this holiday thing."

"So.. you want me to go on a holiday instead of you?"

"Yeah! I mean it's totally up to you though, but I would rather not have this ticket expired and not be refunded."

"But you'll give me some allowance?"

"I'd much rather have the money go to you instead of some shit company."

"You're fun," chuckled Chaeyoung. "I'm in."

The next thing Chaeyoung knew was she was on a business class flight to Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, without a luggage or anything but her phone, her phone charger, and her inhumanely large purse filled with her passport. Maybe, the best thing would be a rest, after all.

It started out very nice apparently. The seat beside her was a teen girl who was busy doing skincare and did not bother her at all, even putting up her wall. She ate all she could during the flight, knowing full well to not waste Jennie's sudden gift. She drank wine, slept and took the amenities she could. She didn't care if the flight attendants may have thought she was ghetto or if she looked that broke in front of the other passengers, she would rather take everything she could rather than being embarrassed and all. After all, when life gives you lemons, you throw it on someone's face and take that someone's money, or maybe that's not the famous saying, so whatever.

The flight landed with a view of the sunrise in Bali which was one of the most beautiful things to ever exist in Chaeyoung's mind. She went out with jolly and chose to immediately check in her hotel to continue her beauty sleep. Then, she bought a new dress and a pair of heels to go clubbing at night. Who cares if I'm friendless? What I really need is some rest not friends for now.
