It was another day at Los Angeles High School. Princess sat in the cafeteria, her pink feather pen in her paw as she scribbled some notes. It was pizza day, and she nibbled on a slice while lost in her thoughts. Suddenly, a tray slammed down in front of her, making her jump.
"Ah!" Princess gasped, clutching her pen.
It was Claudine, grinning from ear to ear, her leather jacket slightly askew from her excitement. She wore skinny denim jeans and black sneakers, practically bouncing on her heels.
"Oh, Claudine, you scared me!" Princess said, trying to steady her nerves.
Before Claudine could respond, Laura and Kira joined them. Laura, with her signature western boots, dark denim jeans, and white tank top paired with a stylish jacket, took a seat next to Claudine. Kira followed, wearing denim shorts over black leggings and a chic, feminine blouse. All three of them looked unusually eager, their excitement practically radiating.
"Everything okay?" Princess asked, noticing their energy.
"Yeah, we were just wondering..." Claudine started, dragging out her words with a teasing smile.
"Wondering what?" Princess asked, tilting her head.
"So... your family..." Claudine giggled as Laura and Kira tried to contain their grins.
"Yes?" Princess replied cautiously.
"You said they were the Bad Guys, right?" Claudine pressed.
"Yes..." Princess replied hesitantly.
"The legendary criminals of all time?"
"Yes..."
"The baddest criminals of S.C.U.M?"
"Yes..."
"The most crooked, wicked, sneakiest, most rotten gang ever?" Claudine added dramatically.
Princess sighed. "Yeah, that's them."
The three girls squealed in unison, unable to contain themselves. Claudine even stood up on her chair, drawing the attention of nearby students.
"That is SO awesome!" Claudine declared.
Princess smiled nervously, lowering her voice as she noticed the curious stares. "Okay, okay, keep it down, will you? Yes, my adoptive family used to be the legendary Bad Guys."
"They're the coolest gang ever!" Claudine said, sitting back down but still beaming.
"They've pulled off more crimes than all the other wanted criminals combined," Laura added, stars in her eyes.
"We're such HUGE fans of theirs!" Kira chimed in, leaning closer.
"I heard the chief has been hunting them down since she was a teenager," Claudine said with awe.
Laura leaned forward. "Wait, is it true? Did the Bad Guys really retire?"
Princess hesitated before nodding. "Yes, they retired."
The girls squealed again, their excitement drawing even more attention from the surrounding tables.
"We HAVE to meet them!" Claudine said, gripping the edge of the table.
"Please, Princess!" Laura added, clasping her hands together.
"You... want to meet my family?" Princess asked, wide-eyed.
"YES!" they all said in unison, their voices echoing through the cafeteria.
"Please, Princess," they begged, each one leaning closer.
