Raising princess.

Two weeks before Princess's birthday, at S.C.U.M prison...
Ashton Hale sat in his dimly lit cell, the faint hum of fluorescent lights the only sound breaking the silence. His icy purple eyes were glued to the screen of the phone he had somehow smuggled in, his finger scrolling through Princess's Instagram feed. He had managed to sneak it past the guards, using whatever methods he could to keep tabs on her. It was a habit, one that had become more obsessive as time passed. He wasn't supposed to have access to anything from the outside world, but he found a way.
His eyes locked onto the latest post—Princess at her Sweet 16 birthday party, smiling brightly in a glittery pink Barbie-themed dress. The caption read: "Best night ever with my family and friends! Thank you, everyone! #Sweet16 #BarbieDreamParty #Grateful."
Ashton's jaw tightened. His fists clenched, a dark rage building within him. He recognized the old plantation house in the background—a house that used to be his, a house he had once called home before everything fell apart. It had been abandoned after his parents died, and he'd always assumed no one would buy it, but here she was, standing in front of it. Her in his space.
He continued scrolling, his anger growing with each new post. Then he saw it—Princess and Eddie, dancing together. His breath hitched. The way they moved together, how close they were, how happy she looked. His grip on the phone tightened, and in his rage, the screen cracked under the pressure.
the glass spiderwebbing under his grip. He could feel his pulse racing, his chest tightening with irrational anger.
"No," Ashton muttered under his breath. "No one takes her away from me. No one."
On the shelf was his meds, Ashton was starting to lose, as he opens it to take his meds, Hallucinations of Princess began to invade his mind.
"What do you think, you're doing" princess appeared in a pink dress.

"Nothing" he closed his pills and puts it back.
"I been waiting for you"
"I know"
She looks at the picture of her and Eddie smiling.
"That could've been us you know, dancing, gazing into each other's eyes but no....you weren't strong enough to win me and now I'm dating the son of the police officer"
"Don't you think I feel bad enough alright, me here stuck in this prison of solitude and you free in the hands of a-of a-son of a policeman" Ashton gripped in the bars.
Then princess hallucination approached him, "we had a planned remember, we were gonna leave this city and get married in New Jersey, we were gonna start a new life together, start a family but look at you, pathetic what did I ever see in you"
"Oh please you love me"
"If you really love me, you come here"
She begged him for help. She begged him to save her. Save her from them—from the people who had stolen her away. From Eddie.
In his mind, she wasn't dancing with Eddie. She wasn't having fun with her friends. No, in his mind, she was crying out to him, her eyes wide with fear, begging him to come and rescue her.
"Save me, Ashton! Please, save me!" she screamed in his head.
"And how am I supposed to do that, I'm stuck in here"
"Do what you always do....escape" she whispered the last word in his ear.
His mind twisted, drowning in madness.
"I'll make them pay," Ashton thought darkly. He couldn't let her slip further away. He had to act. He couldn't let Eddie have her. He couldn't let anyone stand in his way.
He started to sing, his voice low and haunting, as he slipped into his deranged fantasy.
"Hellfire, dark fire, now gypsy, it's your turn. Choose me or your pyre—be mine or you will burn!"
His eyes flickered with madness as he stood, his fingers twitching with anticipation. He needed to break free. He needed to see Princess again.
Ashton's gaze fell upon the small metal key he had stolen from one of the guards, and a twisted grin spread across his face. He stood from his cot, moving swiftly to the cell door. With practiced hands, he unlocked it. His heart raced, a sick thrill coursing through him. He had to leave. He had to find her.
The guards had no idea what was happening until it was too late. They saw him leaving his cell and shouted.
"Hold up! Where do you think you're going, Ashton? Back to your cell, buddy!" one of the guards called out.
But Ashton only laughed, his laughter echoing down the corridor like a psychotic cackle. The guards froze, eyes wide with fear.
He grinned, his face twisted with sadistic pleasure.
"Back to my cell? Oh, I think not."
He grabbed anything he could find in the prison bathroom—pipes, metal bars, whatever made a good weapon—and began knocking out the guards one by one, using brutal, calculated force. They crumpled to the floor unconscious, and Ashton calmly stepped over them, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.
Once the guards were down, Ashton smirked, wiping blood from his hands. "Now... it's time to finish what I started."
With a swift movement, he unlocked the exit door and walked into the night, free once again.
(Sorry AlicornNorth I had to change the brutal bloody part I wanted to make this viewer sensitive)
Present Day
Princess's heart raced as she stood in the grand hall of the plantation house, trying to shake off the nerves from the day's celebration. She had been having so much fun—until she heard a voice that stopped her in her tracks.
"Princess..."
Her blood ran cold.
She slowly turned around, and there he was—Ashton Hale, standing at the entrance with a sickening grin on his face. He looked as though he hadn't aged a day, his eyes wild and unhinged. His gaze locked on her, and Princess's breath caught in her throat. Fear flooded her chest. How was he here? How was he out?
"Why are you so scared, Princess?" Ashton sneered, taking a step toward her. "I'm here to take you back. You belong with me."
Princess stumbled backward, panic rising as she glanced toward the exit. She turned to run, her heart pounding, but Ashton was too fast. His strong arms wrapped around her, pulling her back into his chest before she could make it even halfway to the door.
"No!" Princess screamed, her voice barely audible. She kicked and struggled, but Ashton's grip was unrelenting. She could feel his hot breath on her ear as he whispered.
"You can't escape me, Princess. Not this time."
In a frantic moment of desperation, Princess called out, "Mr. Wolf! Help!" but Ashton quickly covered her mouth with his hand, muffling her cries.
Her mind raced, desperately trying to think of a way out. I have to warn the others, she thought, eyes darting to the room filled with her family and friends. She couldn't let Ashton hurt them.
But as Ashton held her tighter, his psychotic grin never wavering, Princess knew she had to be quick—before it was too late.
