Princess had always been one of the top students at Los Angeles High. She took pride in her academic achievements, always pushing herself to excel. Whether it was history, science, or literature, she made sure to put in her best effort, ensuring her grades remained at the top.

That morning, she walked through the hallways toward her social studies class, her head held high, dressed in her usual stylish yet academic-inspired attire. She wore a white polo shirt with a small black and hot pink striped bow tie, black rolled-up shorts, and light pink tights tucked into dark-brown knee-high boots. Her signature pink hair was pulled into a low ponytail, and she wore a deep pink glittery beanie, adding a soft sparkle to her look.

As she entered the classroom, she took her usual seat. Beside her sat Eddie Luggins, her boyfriend and the son of Chief Misty. Eddie was more laid-back in style, wearing a dark green t-shirt with a brown sleeveless zipped-up hoodie, blue jeans, hiking boots, and black fingerless gloves. The two chatted quietly, enjoying a brief moment together before class started.

"Did you see the new arcade that opened downtown?" Eddie asked, leaning in with a small grin.

Princess chuckled, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Yeah! I heard they have that new racing game with the motorcycles. I was thinking of checking it out this weekend."

"Maybe I can beat you this time," Eddie teased.

Princess smirked. "You? Beat me? Eddie, let's be real, the last time we played, I lapped you twice."

Eddie held up his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright, you got me there. But one day, I'll win."

Before Princess could respond, the door slammed open with a loud BANG!

The entire class froze as their strictest teacher, Mr. Dwight, entered the room. He was a silverback gorilla, towering over the students with his intimidating presence. He had a reputation for being harsh, strict, and relentless—especially when it came to the school's top students. He expected nothing but excellence from them and had no tolerance for failure.

"Eyes up front, people. We have business to discuss."

The students straightened in their seats. Dwight wasn't the type to tolerate slacking.

"Tomorrow, you will take an exam covering everything we've studied this semester. No excuses, no exceptions. If you haven't been paying attention, you're already doomed."

A collective groan rippled through the class.

Eddie whispering to Princess "Man, he really knows how to motivate, huh?"

Princess shot him a look, but there was a small smirk on her face.

"I expect every single one of you to put in the work. But some of you..."—his sharp eyes landed on Princess—"should especially take this seriously. You have a bright future, Miss Chesterfield. Don't mess it up."

Princess froze at the direct call-out. Her fur bristled slightly, but she quickly nodded.

"Y-yes, sir."

The classroom erupted in groans.

Everyone knew just how brutal Mr. Dwight's exams were. They were long, filled with trick questions, and required deep critical thinking. Even the smartest students struggled to pass his tests with top marks.

Princess swallowed hard, gripping her pen tighter.

As the students began leaving class, Mr. Dwight called out to her.

"Princess," he said, his sharp eyes locking onto her. "You have a bright future ahead of you. Don't mess it up."

The words hit like a weight pressing on her shoulders.
