A request AlicornNorth sorry about the long wait hope it was worth and I hope it was perfect

The day had blurred into tension and unease after their encounter with Thomas Chesterfield. Wolf's instincts were gnawing at him like a persistent itch, but for Princess's sake, he tried to shake it off. The gym was alive with cheerful energy, the perfect backdrop for Family Day, and he did his best to blend in, even if his yellow eyes scanned every corner.

Families mingled around them, laughing and chatting over plates of snacks. Diane stayed close to Princess, engaging her in a discussion about school projects to keep her calm. Shark, meanwhile, was living his best life at the buffet, a towering plate of pastries in hand.

"Man, this is good stuff!" Shark said, stuffing a croissant into his mouth. "Family Day ain't so bad, huh?"

Wolf barely acknowledged him, his senses on edge. Snake, stationed against the far wall, shared his vigilance. Even Piranha, usually bouncing off the walls with his boundless energy, was quieter than usual, zipping through the crowd as though searching for something.

"Lighten up, jefe," Shark said, rolling his eyes. "What could go wrong? It's Family Day, not some heist."

But Wolf wasn't buying it. "Something's not right," he muttered under his breath.

He was right.

CLANG!

The heavy gym doors slammed shut, the sound reverberating through the room. The hum of conversation and laughter died instantly, replaced by a thick, uneasy silence. All eyes turned toward the doors as confusion swept over the crowd.

"What the—?" Snake said, as shark dropping his plate and striding to one of the doors. He yanked the handle. "Locked."

Piranha moved to another exit, testing it with the same result. "Every door's sealed tight," he said, his tone grim.

Before anyone could process what was happening, the speakers crackled to life. A voice, smooth and cold, echoed through the room.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen."

Wolf's jaw clenched. "Thomas."

The crowd murmured in confusion and fear as Thomas Chesterfield continued, his voice dripping with malice.

"I trust you're all enjoying Family Day. Unfortunately, the festivities are about to take a... fiery turn. You see, this isn't just a day for bonding. It's a day for revenge."

A collective gasp rippled through the gym. Parents clutched their children, and students huddled together, fear spreading like wildfire.

"You might be wondering why the doors are locked," Thomas continued, his tone mockingly casual. "Well, I've arranged a little surprise for you. You see, your beloved Vice Principal Kit isn't the harmless educator you all think he is. He and his dear twin brother, Kaburi, were once known as the Butcher Twins—legendary terrorists from forty years ago. They've been kind enough to help me set up today's... special event."

Wolf's sharp gaze darted around the gym, and he spotted them: small devices blinking red, strapped to support beams and hidden among the decorations.

"Explosives," Snake hissed, his voice low but urgent.

"Exactly," Thomas said as though hearing Snake's observation. "Now, here's the deal: unless you can figure out how to stop the countdown, this entire gym is going up in flames. And if Mr. Wolf and his charming little family step forward, maybe I'll consider mercy."

Wolf stepped forward, his voice steady and controlled. "Back off Thomas. This is between us."

"Oh, Mr wolf, long time no seen, but it's so much more fun this way," Thomas said, a dark chuckle escaping him. "Tick-tock, Wolf. Time's running out."
