Giovanni walked through the dark hall of the laboratory. Through windows he could see plenty of operations and projects in action. However, this time he has come here to see one specific project, Project Warped Amber.
"Right here Boss." Giovanni was then led into the large room. A researcher was standing right in his path to greet him. Once the pleasantries were exchanged Giovanni asked his first question.
"So, what are the results of the most recent experiment?" He asked.
"Sir, in the effort for creating artificial pokemon from our home we have had only minimal progress. We will need more bioengineered subjects in order to fully grasp the method used for our own application to succeed." The researcher said.
"I'll be sure to see to that. Having access to the pokemon from the old world that aren't native to our regions is paramount for our future plans and power. Speaking of the future, where's Ruthen?"
"The Chief said he should be here any moment. He also has the latest results of the additional matter you requested."
"Fine... how are the Porygons?"
"The Porygons have actually been the first successful product so far. I am happy to report that we can now simply create Porygon-Zs instead of relying on trading them with our few dubious discs. We were able to extract the virus from the dubious discs and directly apply it to our Porygon2's to immediately evolve them into Porygon-zs. We have also found that this makes them stronger than the traded Porygon-Zs." The researcher explained.
Science Chief Ruthen Gravulum walked in through a side door. He quickly set down some folders then walked over to join.
"Hello uncle, I'm here now and you'll forgive me for being late after you hear the news that I have." He started.
"Well get on with it then."
"Ok, basically we have just successfully created a new species." Ruthen announced excitedly.
"Of pokemon?" Giovanni asked, confused.
"Not quite, we tried bioengineering a wyvern we received with the genetics of a Noivern which we learned is similar in genetic makeup. The result is almost a proto pokemon. While it can't quite use any definitive moves it definitely can use supernatural powers. For starters it has gained a faster and more powerful fireball, though it is just short of being a true Incinerate. It also can use powerful sound wave attacks that can moderately damage most unarmored vehicles and living things. Its final ability is actually a type of buffing spell that from what we can tell boosts special defense and speed. After we ran it through some tests we can confidently say that while it may be useless to us it would be a huge upgrade to virtually every nation on this planet." Ruthen explained.
