Ekallem Palace
Cantrell and Von strolled through the empty halls of the well adorned Palace. It was easy to tell the king valued his family greatly based on the sheer amount of portraits of his wife and children. Knowing that the palace was completely surrounded and none of the team on the perimeter reported movement the pair of Rocket Admins casually made their way to the throne room.
"Damn this piece is emp-ty, not even a stray servant... or even a rat!" Von mused.
"Well they've gotta be here somewhere. If they're not in the throne room I'm not walkin around anymore, I'ma just chill until they get found." Cantrell said, bored.
"Admins, the throne room is right around this next corner!"
"Finally, show time." Von growled.
Von and Cantrell creeped up on the small entrance to the throne room with 18 Executive Agents in tow. As soon as their group got halfway to the indented entrance the king's royal guard spring into action firing their muskets.True to their reputation the Executive Agents acted quickly putting up an extended Wide Guard with their Pellipers and returning fire. Within 2 minutes, all of the guards were dead.
"Damn, he really dead as hell even with a gun." Von jokes.
"Calling a musket a gun is crazy to me." Cantrell joked back.
An Executive Agent busted down the throne room door with a Luxray Wild Charge. The team quickly rushed in securing the room. Sitting on the throne with the last 8 guards was the King of Awan. Cantrell and Von smiled at each other and walked straight up to him.
"Hey your Majesty, it's great to finally meet you! I'm Rocket Admin Cantrell, and to my left is Rocket Admin Von. We are here to present you with your current options."
The king shifted uncomfortably on his throne before answering. All he could think of was how much of a fool he was and what would happen to his family.
"I am King Percakow of the Kingdom of Awan... I... I am prepared to hear my, options." Percakow managed to say. The tension in his guards was at a breaking point, he was half expecting one of them to have started shooting.
"Well option one is you surrender unconditionally now and the war is over. You will be annexed into our empire but no further harm will come to you, your family, people or island." Spoke Cantrell.
"Or, you keep fighting and we raze the island first, then we annex it." Von finished smiling.
Percakows heart dropped at his prospects. Of course there was really only one correct choice but it pained him all the same to make it. All he had to cling to was the hope that these Viridians kept their promise.
"As the last king of Awan I hereby declare the Kingdom of Awans full surrender to the Viridian Empire." King Percakow Announced. He then matched down his throne and surrendered his jewel adorned short sword to Cantrell and gave a small bow.
Just as he said it, one of the agents managed to live stream the whole surrender to the whole of Ekallem. Within a half hour fighting in the city stopped and within 4 hours, the entire island had laid down its weapons. Later in the evening the king and his whole family were at a table with Von and Cantrell to sign the official surrender document.
"Now, the last thing we gotta do is sign this paper that basically confirms what we said in the throne room." Cantrell passed the paper to the king. "Read it if you want but when you're done you and every member of your family must sign it."
"Even the princes?" asked the Queen.
"Yes, even lil Prince Dulkonol and Adrellian gotta sign it. We wouldn't want any random claimants to a throne that soon won't exist now would we?" Von teased. "Now please, sign, after this you're just gunna be some very rich private citizens."
One by one the king, then the queen, and then the two small princes signed the document with a gilded fountain pen. With each signature the gratification in the two admins grew and grew, knowing that they would be rewarded handsomely for their speedy success. Once the 10 year old Prince Adrellian signed his name and the butler had gently waved the paper to dry the ink, Cantrell took the document and put it in the folder a nearby grunt was holding. She then turned her attention back to the table.
"Now lucky for you guys, Emperor Giovanni is a reasonable man. You and your people won't be punished for resisting. You obviously won't receive the benefits that you would have gotten if you just surrendered peacefully but he, as my colleague Vons says, game is game." Cantrell then walked out of the meeting room followed by the grunt with the folder.
"Food and relief will arrive within the next 2 days so for now just relax and let the incorporation happen. Once the transfer of power is made officially and publicly you all will be allowed to retire to one of your other palaces or villas. We'll of course be snatching up some of them for various reasons but most we will let you keep." Von then gave a confident gin and walked out of the meeting room.
Back at the fleet confirmation of their victory was sent back to HQ while many of the soldiers celebrated. With barely any casualties it was perhaps Team Rockets most successful military operation ever.

Viridian Empire
Rocket Castle
"Sir all invasions have been launched successfully, no problems so far." Matori reported.
"Excellent news, with any luck will have complete control over all 3 islands before the world even finds out we invaded." Giovanni sipped on his drink and stared out the window. "However, after seeing how eager my chosen commanders were for this fight I don't doubt that we'll have won at the end of the day."
