Nico Horses

Annabeth's POV

Once Thalia went to change, we all calmed down and started to talk about Hogwarts.

"I read that there are four houses." I said.

"Ya! The houses are Gryffindor, the brave, Hufflepuff, the kind, Ravenclaw, the wise, and Slytherin the cunning." Hermione exclaimed to me. I sound like I could do good in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. Suddenly, the conductor's voice rang through the train.

"We will be arriving at Hogwarts soon."

"We should go get our robes on." Said Harry, just as Thalia walked in in her black robe.

"Thalia!" I exclaimed, "You need to put on the sweater, not your Death to Barbies t-Shirt."

"What's a sweater?" asked Ron.

"The American way of saying jumper." Hermione responded. Thalia grumbled and just sat down.

"I can wear what I want little sis and they can not stop me!" She exclaimed.

"Little sis?" Hermione asked.

"Inside joke." Percy said. We walked out to change.

When we got to the train station, it was pitch black outside. I had convinced Percy to wear the "bathrobe" while Thalia was still being stubborn about what she can wear. Nico didn't complain, because it matched his attire well anyway. We hopped off onto the platform, and heard a loud booming voice coming to the right of us.

"Firs' years! Over 'ere! I looked over and almost screamed. The man was twice the size of a regular human and must have had some giant blood in him. I taped Percy and pointed at the man and he said,

"Woah. Is that dude related to the giants in anyway?"

"How did you guess that Hagrid was half giant?" Asked Ron.

"Well he's twice the size of a regular human being and we figured he must have some giant blood in him." I said. We followed the 5 to a dirt path where there were carriages pulled by skeleton horses that radiated death.

"Look at those horses." Thalia said.

"Ya! There Nico horses! They just told me to 'stay away they don't like to be touched.'" Percy exclaimed.

"Hey!" Nico said, offended.

"What are they?" Thalia asked.

"Oh, you've seen death?" Hermione asked.

"Yes. Met him in person." Percy said.

"What?" Hermione asked.

"Better not answer that." Percy said.

"Ok. Any way, those are Thestrals. You can only see them if you have seen death." Hermione said. "Who did you see dye?"

"Oh." I said softly. "Well, that's a soft subject." I have seen many people dye. And monsters. I have killed so many monsters, I wonder if that counts.

"Come on. Let's get in." I said. We all hoped in and the carriages started to move. We were all quiet until the castle came into view.

"Wow" I said.

Update!!!!!

I am so excited for next week, because I get to go to lake Powell with my grandparents and I get to see my cousins. I will try to update more. Vote and Comment!
