Thalia's POV
Today, I raced Percy down to the great hall. I won. He won the eating though. Hermione became disgusted. I herd someone clear her throat.
"Mr. Wesley, Mr. Jackson, Ms. Gr..."
"Thawia." I interrupted Professor McGonagle.
"Ok. Ms. Thalia, please don't use disrespectful manners at the table. Oh, and here are the sceduals for your group." She finished, handing the papers to Annabeth. I gulped down my bite of food.
"Why don't you like your last name?" Asked Hermione.
"Because I didn't like my mom." I replied simply and looked at my scedual. It said,
Monday:
Period 1: 8:30-9:30: Charms
Period 2: 9:35-10:35: Defense Against the Dark Arts
Period 3: 10:40-11:40: Study Period
Lunch: 11:50-12:20
Period 4: 12:30-1:30: Transfiguration
Period 5: 1:35-2:35: Free period
Wow. This is not a normal scedual.
"What classes do you guys have?" Asked Percy. We all compared sceduals and figured out we all have the same. (Except Hermione has History of Magic on Period 5). Sadly, Ginny was a year below us, so she doesn't have the same classes as us.
"By!" She called.
"See you later!" We called back.
"Let's go to Charms!" Hermione squealed. Well I know who Annabeth is going to be friends with. The four of us followed the three of them to a large classroom with a dwarf sitting at the teachers desk. We sat down in the front row, (dew to Hermione and Annabeth) and got out our textbooks. When everyone was seated, the dwarf said in his squeaky voice,
"Hello and welcome back! Or welcome to the new students! I am Professor Flitwick and I will be your charms teacher for the year! Now let me find my attendance..." He started to search for attendance and when he found it took our attendance.
"Today we will start out review unit!" Said Professor Flitwick. "We will start with water control." I growned. The odds are not in my favor today. I take my wand out and flip to the page on water creating. I flicked my wand up, than jerked it down to the right, than swished it across to the left, than back to the right.
"Agumti." I muttered, pointing it to the glass. A blast of wind blew out and knocked the glass off the table. The glass, of course, shattered. I looked over and saw Annabeth on the step of freezing water, and Percy, of course, playing with his water, controlling it with his "wand". I tried again and again to create water, but Nico and I were the only ones not to create water. I am horrible with water.
"Homework tonight is to practice." Professor Flitwick said at the end of class. I packed up and groaned. Hopefully there is a water unit soon. Next stop, DADA!
