The detention

Percy POV
"Bye guys." I said as a left the common room. It was 5:00, time for my first detention. Harry and Ron told me not to worry. McGonagle goes easy and has us wash something(easy. Just use water powers), write lines(groan), and if you are too bad, go into the forest(easy. I have Riptide). I walked down to McGonagle's office and knocked.

"Come in." She said. I opened the door and saw McGonagle sitting behind her desk.

"Good afternoon Mr. Jackson. Welcome to detention. This is only a simple detention, so I will have you write lines. I groaned. Lines are horrible with my dyslexia and ADHD, anything would be better then sitting still and writing something over and over again. Professor McGonagle gestured towards a desk. I sat down and took out a pen (not Riptide) and some of the wired scroll paper that wizards use.

"You will wright I will not start wars in the lunch room. Until I tell you to stop." She instructed. I started to write.

That much took me about 30 minutes to write. I looked at McGonagle who was grading papers. I started up again.

I carried on like this for a while until Professor McGonagle told me to stop.

"Please hand in your paper and you are free to go." She said. I turned in my paper to my desk and turned around to go. I was halfway out of the classroom when, 

"Mr. Jackson will you please come here." I turned around and walked back to her desk. She didn't look mad, just bewildered.

"Mr. Jackson." McGonagle addressed me. "How is it that you can't read or write any English, but you can write in perfect, what is that language, Greek?"

"Umm......." So that's why it got 10 times easier in the middle.

"Greek is my first language and it's easier for me to read and write than English." I covered for myself. McGonagle narrowed her eyes.

"Ok. Have a nice night Jackson." She said.

Now I'm really nervous...

Hello cupcakes! I have updated. I saw the Scorch Trials yesterday and FatHippo13 and I were joking about how the movies have a love/hate relationship with the book. If the movie makers didn't like what was happening in the book, they added violence and trucks. Then FatHippo13, her friends and I were talking about how Newt plays Ferb in Phineus and Ferb and then 3 of her friends were arguing over who should date Newt and how Newt looks small and then we figured out that Newt is like 5" 10 and we were all like, What??? We had a crazy night. Vote and Comment!
