Annabeth's Mom?

Hermione's POV
Ancient Ruins was pretty interesting. Professor Chas was a really good teacher and I was excited to learn some of the ancient languages and myths.

The assigned book was really funny, and I imagined Percy would tell us something like that. I wonder if I could meet the author, Rick Riordan. I think that is who the author is. As we were walking to lunch, I was talking to Annabeth about Chas.

"Isn't she a cool teacher?" I asked. She nodded, looking uncomfortable.

"Yea. I think we will have an interesting year with all the... Ah... new teachers." She replied.

"Annabeth, why did you and the other exchange students gasp when you saw the teacher?" I asked. Annabeth looked around and said,

"Don't tell anyone but..." Annabeth got cut off when we herd a voice behind us.

"Hello Annabeth. It's nice to see you." Professor Chas said. Annabeth turned around and said,

"Nice to see you too mom."
Wait, Professor Chas. Annabeth Chase. Chas. Chase. You just leave off the e!  Annabeth and Professor Chas talked in quiet voices in a different language. Annabeth nodded to Chas and walked back to me.

"So Chas is your mom?" I asked. Annabeth nodded.

"And she hates Percy." She added.

Annabeth and I walked down to lunch and saw Percy and Ron stuffing their mouths again. Thalia was eating a sandwich and was listening to music while nodding her head to the beat. Harry was watching Percy and Ron with a sick look on his face, and Nico was no where to be see... Actually he was talking to Dumbledore. Annabeth and I facepalms and went to sit by the boys (and Thalia). Here's another crazy lunch.
