if you were to go back in time and talk to the y/n that first moved into this house, she would never believe you if you told her you and bruce broke up because he cheated on you. she would never believe you if you told her your roommates were dating each other and were slowly weaving you into their relationship. if you were to swap places with her right now, she'd probably feel flustered at how close namjoon, yoongi and hoseok were sitting before you.

over the past few weeks, the guys have been less subtle with their displays of affection towards each other. what started as seeing them only hold hands and share short kisses became seeing them almost sitting in each other's laps and walking in on a make-out session on the couch.

at first, you felt odd seeing them kiss. it wasn't the kind of odd feeling that made you feel uncomfortable. it was just a weird thing you couldn't describe. nothing negative.

one of the first moments you clocked the type of relationship your roommates had with each other was when you had barely walked into the kitchen, where seokjin pulled away from a kiss with taehyung before kissing namjoon with his hand still on taehyung's chin. you couldn't stop thinking about the blissed-out smile on taehyung's face before he pecked both men's cheeks.

you had no idea who you wanted to be at that moment. taehyung, namjoon or seokjin. you wanted to be in one of your roommates' positions, and it didn't matter as long as you were there. you left the kitchen quickly after realising the situation to avoid getting caught watching like some voyeur.

that reminded you of the sight before you now. namjoon was sitting between the two, with hoseok's head resting on his shoulders. yoongi's legs rested across their laps, with his head resting on namjoon's other shoulder. looking at how comfortable they were made you want to squeeze in and make yourself comfortable between them.

but what started off as an innocent seating position turned into something more. you could feel the tension between the guys from your place sprawled on the couch opposite them. they had clearly forgotten your presence, but it didn't bother you. sights like these made you feel giddy and warm inside. it started with hushed words you couldn't make out because of your earphones to a soft peck on each other's lips—now they were looking at each other with such desire you were ready to scream at them to kiss.

yoongi moved to namjoon, pulling him into a sweet kiss with his hand in hoseok's as if he could hear your thoughts.

"this is the third time i've seen you watching, princess," taehyung whispered, resulting in you sitting up in surprise. "didn't mean to scare you," he chuckled deeply, moving from standing behind the couch to sitting on the space you've created.

"what do you mean three?" you asked him, forgetting about your other roommates.

"don't think i didn't see you walking away that day when i was in the kitchen with jin and joonie," he whispered, leaning closer to you. you suddenly felt hot, feeling embarrassed about getting caught watching. again. this new new nickname wasn't making you feel better.

"there's no shame in it, princess," he smiled. but it wasn't his usual pure, boxy smile—it was a smile that hid something dark behind it.

the mischievous look in his eyes told you he was up to something, and with his face so close, you swore he would kiss you. but before you could lean in, his head turned to the three you forgot were making out on the couch opposite you.

"how could you guys leave y/n out like this?" taehyung asked, causing hoseok and yoongi to pull away from each other and namjoon to stop trailing kisses along their necks. "you didn't even ask if she wanted a show before putting one on."

"fuck, we're sorry, y/n," namjoon sighed, and you felt flustered and awkward. "we should've um... held ourselves back and stuff."

"there's no need to apologise," you told him. "this is your home. your living room-"

"our home. our living room," yoongi cut you off. correcting you.

"right," you nodded. "anyway, don't mind me! i have no issues with... yeah." you had to get used to speaking openly and comfortably with the guys when it came to conversations about intimacy.

"nah... we should've included you. and i'm talking about from the moment we sat down, we should've invited you to sit with us," hoseok said. "do you wanna sit with us? i think we're done."

"it's a bit late to include her now," taehyung sighed dramatically. the mischievous glint in his eyes was still there, and you couldn't help but wonder what was going on his head. "i'm here, and y/n's mine right now," he told them, leaning close to your face again. "and it's our turn to put on a show for you guys."

before you could register his words, his hands were cupping your face and his lips were on yours.

"you want to go on a date with hoseok?" jimin asked, eyes focused on the paperwork before him. "anything in mind?" you were in jimin's room, laying on his bed on your back while he worked at his desk.

"i want us to take a duo dance class and then go for a walk to have ice cream by the han river," you explained. you had sat for hours fighting with yourself on whether this date idea was okay, but you got tired and decided to get a second opinion. it had almost been a week since you first discussed things with navi, and you didn't want to delay any longer.

"that sounds nice, beautiful," he spoke, turning to look at you momentarily. "knowing hoseok, i'm sure he'll enjoy every second. from the duo dance class to getting to cool down and chat over a walk and ice cream. he'll love it."

"hopefully this weekend," you sighed, turning to lay on your stomach and folding your arms to rest your head on them. "i'm not disturbing you, right?"

"never," jimin said. "i would prefer it if you were sitting in my lap, telling me about whatever comes to mind. i think it would make getting through these contracts more bearable."

"don't you need to be focused when reading contracts?" you asked with a groan as you got off the bed. "won't i distract you?"

"you won't," he chuckled, turning the chair to face you as you approached. "now come here. i need you."

you cherished moments like these—moments where you could sit with him or in his lap and rant about your day and how your life was going. your relationship with jimin progressed, and you weren't shy to talk to about anything. you two could sit in complete silence without either of you feeling awkward.

you couldn't wait to become this comfortable with the rest of your roommates. you wanted to fall asleep in namjoon's arms, sing and dance crazily with hoseok when you're supposed to be cleaning, listen to yoongi produce songs and give him some input here and there if needed. you wanted to cook with seokjin, edit and film videos with jungkook or follow him around the gym he frequented, and paint while listening to jazz music while having a glass of wine with taehyung.

you couldn't wait for the days where you'd all be cuddled up in the living room, watching scary movies or going on a date. be it a fancy restaurant or chill picnic at a park. you wanted to spend time with them as a group.

"min-ah," you said lazily, making yourself comfortable in jimin's lap, face buried in the crook of his neck while he worked. "i really like it here. being with you. being with others."

"i like having you here, too, y/n. and so do the others," your roommate told you, gently kissing the side of your head. 'but i'm beginning to think what i feel for you is more than liking.'
