you glanced at your screen, frowning slightly. you were sure you'd set your phone to do not disturb (dnd), needing to focus on the lecture. with a sigh, you flipped your phone over. the notification could wait.

"i'm sorry?" seokjin asked, looking up from a document he was reading.

"as i said, the photos for miss heart's brand came out," secretary cho said. "the matching couple pieces miss baek modelled with mr seo grabbed a lot of attention, and many brands sent emails wanting to work with her. they think the two of them look perfect together and want them to model for their couple pieces or as a couple."

that's what caused seokjin to look up — the part where brands want y/n to work with seo in-guk as a couple. with his boyfriends pinning the girl, he didn't like the sound of that at all.

"why as a couple?" he frowned, causing secretary cho to raise an eyebrow.

"have you seen the photos?" he asked, turning on his tablet to find the pictures he got from the photographer and casey heart. "they look like such a cute couple! in some shots, they're totally giving off grumpy x sunshine vibes. miss baek is all smiles, and mr seo has this little smile that's like, 'you're the only one who can make me smile.' they need to be cast in a romance drama!"

jimin did not want to be seated in this meeting. as much as he understood why he needed to be in the drama-casting meetings, he hated them. he would sit in a meeting room for what felt like hours, listening to producers of a new drama discuss their plans, terms and conditions and the actors they wanted to work with. on behalf of the actors at starship entertainment, he would review the contracts and bargain for better conditions or make changes based on the actor's wishes.

"there is this small clothing brand called enchant created by casey heart, a canadian woman expanding her brand in south korea. based on research, she's close friends with the multi-millionaire kim seokjin," after hearing his boyfriend's name, jimin began to zone out. they were discussing a new romance drama written by im meari. why was seokjin being mentioned?

"enchant recently launched a line of matching couple pieces, and one of your actors modelled for the brand," ji jaehyung, one of the producers, said. "his name is seo in-guk, and the public is going wild over the photos posted on the brand's official website, as well as on twitter and tiktok."

jimin slightly sat up at the mention of the name.

"seo in-guk is the newly recruited actor," jung eunbi, his assistant, whispered. "you have not had the opportunity to meet with him yet. i have scheduled a meeting between the two of you for tomorrow."

jimin always had a couple meetings with new actors whenever they joined the company to get to know them and finalise their contracts. it was crucial to know the people he was representing. but he didn't sit up because the name was unfamiliar. he saw his name and face when the ceo mentioned wanting to recruit the guy. he sat up because something about him was familiar — as if the day the ceo mentioned him wasn't the first time he'd heard his name or seen his face. and he couldn't put his finger on it.

"we reviewed the photos, and his demeanour in several shots perfectly aligns with that of the male lead's character, myeol mang—a cold, detached, and mysterious deity," nam haera, another producer, remarked. "the woman seo in-guk was posed with not only modelled for enchant's brand, but she's also the new face of kim seokjin's lipstick and lip balm line!"
