you looked at the two men sitting before you, wondering how they could be interested in you when they had each other and more.

kim taehyung had that perfect, almost unreal face people would call godlike. his beauty was unreal, and he looked even more attractive in the dark three-piece suit hugging his body.

you were accustomed to seeing him in a medical coat and scrubs, or a simple, plain tee and baggy sweatpants. seeing him dressed nicely was doing something, and you couldn't explain it.

seokjin, whose eyes were fixated on the menu before him, looked just as handsome as taehyung. you'd seen him in tailored suits before - he practically lived in them, but it never got old. you'd eat it up every time. his hair was a bit messier than earlier, probably due to a long day of running his fingers through it, but that didn't affect how good he looked. in fact, the slightly dishevelled hair made him look hotter.

"he looks good, doesn't he?" taehyung asked, causing you to snap out of your slight daze. seokjin looked over his menu with an eyebrow raised, and you looked away, feeling embarrassed for getting caught staring. "you look good too, y/n," he chuckled, enjoying how flustered you were.

you looked down at your black silk evening gown as you tried to hide the blush creeping on your face. you bought this dress a while ago, unaware that the first time you'd wear it would be on a date with two men.

it's been two weeks since your date with namjoon. your schedule cleared, and taehyung decided he couldn't wait anymore and invited you out.

you were sitting at the dining table a few nights ago, looking at the case study for your criminal law class, when he came into the room and brought up the idea.

"you're reminding me of my days as a student," he chuckled, watching you scratch the side of your head. "do you have a few minutes for me? i wanna talk to you and ask you something."

"yeah," you sighed, putting down your highlighter before running your hands down your face. you needed a quick break anyway. "what's up, tae?"

"well, jin and i are going on a date next weekend. we're planning on going to a nice fancy restaurant and having a formal dinner," he said, and you couldn't help but admire the look on his face. he had a soft smile, and his eyes lit up with excitement.

you watched as he went over the details of their date with a warm, dreamy look. it was the kind of look people had when they talked about something that truly made them happy.

"that sounds nice, tae," you smiled once he had finished speaking. "i hope you enjoy yourselves."

"i didn't come here and interrupt your study session to talk about a date," he began, causing you to raise a brow. "we were wondering how you'd feel coming with? you know... going on a date with both of us."

"huh?"

"yeah," he said, awkwardly scratching his nape. "he and i talked... we realised we'd love for you to join us. we'll have a throuple date."

"you want me to come? a throuple date?" you asked, and he nodded. the look he had earlier was replaced by nervousness as he nibbled on his lower lip. "i would love to, but after everything you've told me about this date... wouldn't i be intruding? you looked so excited telling me about it."

"yes, i was excited—still am, but having you with us is even more exciting," he said, coming around the table to sit in the chair next to you. "i said we'd love for you to join us, meaning it's not just me. i want you with us. jin wants you with us, too, y/n. i know you'd probably prefer to go on one-on-one dates with each of us first, but i'm impatient and so is he. we want to go on a date with you, and this coming weekend is the perfect opportunity."
