"This bout the most boring job we could've taken," Daryl sighs.

I rest my head on his back and huff. "Yeah.. five miles an hour is going by real slow."

"Can you scratch my side? Think I got a goddamn tick."

I scoff and raise his shirt a bit. I scan the area before finding the tick and plus it off, tossing it to the road.

"At this speed the bastard might catch you again," I tease.

I lay my head against his back again and try to relax as much as possible. The plan was working so far, but I knew better than to jinx a situation like this.

"You gon' take a nap?"

"Might as well," I answer. "It's like a massage chair."

"If you do, put your hand in my pockets so you don't lose balance."

I hum to let him know I heard him before tapping a little beat on the bike in front of him.

"Wanna play 'I Spy'?" I ask.

"Wanna play the 'Quiet Game'?"

I roll my eyes. "You suck."

I slide my hands into Daryl's pocket and he reaches down with one hand to keep a hold on my thigh to further stabilize me as he drives with one hand. My eyes feel heavier and heavier.

Since Sasha found the herd, I'd been going on little sleep. Michonne, Rick, Glenn, Daryl and I stayed up most hours of the night planning and building. Not to mention caring for Judith and Woojin on the side.

In the past week, I may have gotten a combined four hours of sleep. Even when I do sleep, I find myself disturbed with nightmares, as I told Daryl. But, they've been getting more vivid. More vague. I wake up before anything truly happens.

It's the same layout.. Me running in a field of clovers as something chases me. I haven't seen what it was, or who. I just knew I had to run.

Before I could fall asleep, a loud horn rings through the air. My head shoots up straight and I reach for the radio.

"Rick?" I ask into the radio.

It's silent.

"The hell?" Daryl asks.

"Rick!" I shout into the radio.

"I'm here," Rick answers.

I wanted to sigh in relief, but the horn made things worse. "What the hell is happening?"

"Half of the herd broke off. They're going toward Alexandria.

"Cause of that noise?" Abraham asks through the radio, his voice much clearer since we were closer in range.

"Don't know what that horn is, but it's drawing them over. It's not stopping, either."

I pat Daryl's back urgently.

"We're on our way back," I tell Rick.

"We have it, you keep going."

"No fucking way," I argue.

"You have to keep the herd moving!" Rick shouts.

"You need help!"

"If you turn around and bring more over, the bad gets worse, Hyejin!"

"Woojin is there!" I cry out in protest.

"And he's with Maggie and Daniel! I'll be there soon, he'll be safe!"

I knew there was no use in arguing. It would just tire us out. And since he was on the move, it would slow him down.

"Fine," I state plainly and hook the radio to my side, done with the conversation.

"Actually?" Daryl asks.

"When we hit five miles out, we gun it forward out of range of the herd and go back," I decide.

"All right," he agrees. "Let's see how far we are."

He pulls the bike closer to Sasha and Abraham's car.

"Hey, we five miles out yet?"

"Give or take some yardage," Abraham answers. "You got a reason for asking?"

"We're speeding up to circle back."

""The plan is to go 15 more miles," Sasha reminds.

"You keep going. It's just us," I inform.

"We lose the bike, we lose the noise," Abraham points out.

"If you want to go, we can't stop you. But, without you, they could stop us," Sasha adds.

"I got faith in you," Daryl comments before speeding up.

Sasha and Abraham shout in alarm, telling us not to go.
