I felt the wind from the sword as the Governor pulls back and slices through the air. Then, I felt blood sprinkle on my face as the sword embedded in Hershel's neck.

Somehow, amidst everything, I hear Maggie's bloodcurdling scream from all the way at the prison.

Rick screams in anguish and suddenly fires his gun. Gunfire sounds from all around us. Panicked, I look at Hershel. he wriggles on the ground.

"Go!" I shout at Michonne.

She rolls on her side, flipping across the field.

One of the soldiers points his gun at me. I scurry backward. He goes to fire the gun, but a bullet sinks in his neck, his dead body falling to the ground.

"Get the hell out of there!" Rick screams, backing away from the gunfight.

I scurry on my rear, hiding behind one of the cars. I bend my knees to my chest and hook my arms under my legs so they are tied in front of me.

I reach to my shirt and pull out my necklace. I use the key to my cell of the prison to cut the ties, albeit slower than I wanted because of my shaking and the chaos around me.

I hear gurgles of pain and my eyes widen. Hershel was inching closer, bleeding from his neck.

There's still a chance.

I push myself off the car and drag Hershel closer. I place my hands on his wound.

"You're okay.. You're okay," I panic, trying to stop the bleeding as I sob. "You're gonna be okay."

Hershel moans in pain, his body starting to shiver from the blood loss.

"No.. No," I cry, cupping his face. "Stay with me. Stay with me, Grandpa."

The blood pours from his neck like a stream. I could see the inner workings of his neck as he fought to breathe, but his airway was cut.

A choked-out sob wrecks my body as my vision goes blurry.

"Go.." he wheezes. "Miracle.."

I couldn't even see if I was holding the wound any longer from all the tears. My hands were so soaked in blood that I couldn't tell what limb was me and which was Hershel. I shake my head feverishly. I had to try. I couldn't just leave him.

"Go.." he repeats. "They.. need.. you.."

I lean over his body and kiss his temple. "I'm sorry.. I'm sorry. Thank you."

I pick up the gun from the man Rick shot. I pull myself up with the car. I point the gun at Hershe's head, looking away as I shoot- mercy killing him so he doesn't turn.

Though it hurt, I carry myself through the chaos. The Governor and his people had tore down the fences and were driving closer to the prison.

Everything was a mess. Everyone was panicking and fighting back. I run through the field, dodging bullets as they flew at me.

I don't remember much of it. I kicked the door open and ran into the cell block and search for Woojina as people flood outside to the emergency bus.

"Woojin!" I scream, running through the prison. "Woojin!"

My feet slide as another blow from the tank rattles the building.

"Woojin!" I shriek. "Carl!"

I make it to Beth's cell where she had Judith and Woojin earlier. But, no one was there.

I rub back outside.

"Hyejin!" Maggie screams.

I hurry to her and hide behind the car. Sasha and Bob were also there.

"Have you seen Beth?" Maggie asks.

"No! I went inside but she and the kids are gone!" I explain amidst the gunfire.

"Jeannette said she went to go find them.." Magie pants. "They're together. She has Woojin and Judith.."

"On the bus?"

"That's where I left Glenn. Beth knows to go there, so we just.."

Maggie and I watch as the bus leaves the prison.

"We'll figure it out," Sasha says. "Bob needs to get treated. We'll look for the bus when we're out of here!"

We'll look for the bus when we're out of here!"
