We get to the church, and I go over to Taylor's side and let her out. She wearing black converse high-tops just like me.
"Same shoes." I point out.
She laughs a little. "Yes. Yes they are." She says.
We walk with fingers laced together into the church.
"You really do look nice." I say when we find our seats at the front on the brides side.
The wedding is starting in 2 minutes.
"Thanks." She says.
Mom walks down the isle. She looks so pretty. I'm glad she's moved on with her life away from Dad. I really am happy for her. It's just sad to think that I'm going to get a new father out of this, and I didn't sign up for any of it.
They say 'I do' and kiss, then they walk down the isle together. 2 families adjoined. Aubrey is now my little sister.
