Taylor
Mrs. Campbell's wedding is in 2 hours. Cameron should be here any minute. I already said my good byes to Mom and Dad. I'm still surprised that they're actually okay with me going to an unknown friend's house.
I stand at the corner of the road in my hot pink dress. I'm carrying my black purse (as usual). But, I couldn't find any dressy shoes that will go good with this dress so I decided to wear my black converse high-tops. It's the one of the only things Cameron and I have in common.
Whenever a car drives by I keep hoping in Cameron. But every time, it's not. Then a little SUV drives and and rolls down the window. I'm looking down at my shoes wondering if I should go back and change them.
"Need a ride." The person in the car says.
"No, I'm waiting." I say. Wait. I recognized that voice. Cameron. "Oh. Never mind." I smile and get in the car.
"You look wonderful, Taylor." He says.
"You do too, Cameron." I say.
He drives away towards the direction of where the wedding is.
"I brought my bag just in case it gets late and I have to stay at your house. But if I do I'm going to be sleeping on the floor, don't worry." I say.
"It's fine." Cameron laughs a little.
It's only now that I realize how much I really did miss him.
