What's worst than being casted out by my own father is that being able to discover that my existence is an abomination.

Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ganun siya sa'kin. Simula nung bata pa ako, palagi niya akong sinasaktan. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit ganun nalang ang trato niya sa'kin. Ako na sarili niyang anak.
Totoong anak nga ba niya ako?
Palagi kong naitatanong sa sarili yun dahil walang sinumang ama ang kayang saktan ang kanyang sariling anak. Pwera nalang kung sobrang sama talaga nito.
Do I deserve this pain he inflicted to me? Deserve ko bang patayin niya?

But as I open my eyes, I suddenly feel a pang of pain in my chest and shoulder.
Napadaing ako sabay sinubukang ibangon ang sarili. Pero sobrang sakit talaga ng mga sugat ko.
Napatingin ako sa'king dibdib. I was half naked. Most of my body was covered by blood. May nakita akong plaster sa'king dibdib maging sa kanang braso ko.
I remember now what happen. Gavin shot me in my chest, but I was wearing Gio's heart pendant that is why the bullet never penetrated successfully into my chest.
But it still wounded me. It feels like I still have a bullet in my chest. I also can't move my right shoulder.
Parang nabalian ako ng balikat sa pakiramdam.
May nakakabit saking swero. Napatingin ako sa paligid.
This is not a hospital. Sobrang dilim kasi ng paligid.
Inangat ko ang mga mata sa katiting na liwanang na nagmumula sa maliit na bintana na nasa ibabaw nitong mahabang dingding na aking nakikita.
I look at my surroundings thoroughly. Even with the unbearable pain, I still try to sit.
Pero napadaing lamang ako dahil sa ginawa.

Natigilan ako mula sa boses na yun.

" Rome..is that you? Where are you?"
I need to see her. I need to be sure that I am not just hallucinating.
May nakita akong gumalaw sa isang sulok. Pagkatapos may narinig akong mga yabag ng paa na papalapit sa'kin.
" Rome.."
She's real and she's here beside me. Medyo tumama yung konting ilaw ng kwartong ito sa kanyang mukha.
Pero nanlaki lamang ang mga mata ko sa gulat.
What happened to her?
Sinipat ko ang kabuuan niyang hitsura mula ulo hanggang paa.
She still wear the same clothes the last time I seen her. She looks dirty, unbathe and beaten.
May mga pasa akong nakikita sa kanyang mukha.
Her hair is kinda wet maybe from the sweat.
" Rome...anong...bakit....." I can't find my next words realizing that what happened to her has something to do also with what happen to me.
Natahimik ako at sobrang nanlumo sa'ming sitwasyon ngayon.
I know my father do these things to her.
