i technically was asleep for ages but i'm still so tired. i had such an on and off sleep it felt like nothing.

i woke up late and instead of the 2 hours i had given myself to get ready i had 12 minutes before i had to leave.

it was a 45 minute drive to set and i didn't even have time to straighten my hair or anything. i know hair and makeup can do it but i feel bad for making their jobs worse.

after pulling into the car park i instantly head to the vending machine for a coffee.
"you're going to have a heart attack by you're 20 if you keep drinking that much coffee" i physically jumped at scarlett behind me.

"you're going to give me a heart attack if you sneak up on me again" i said clutching my heart. and she apologized wrapping her arms around me. and asking how i was. "just over tired, i didnt sleep well last night"

"what do you think it was from?" she asked and i just shrugged. "okay lets go get you breakfast so you actually have some energy in you" she said and walked with her arm over my shoulders to craft services. there i saw violet. and i smiled saying good morning. her eyes drifted to the coffee in my hands and raised an eyebrow. 

it was rare i didnt have one in my hand.

we were literally talking last night about how i need to cut back on it. i shrugged and she rolled her eyes with a smile.

scarlett went and grabbed a burrito, chucking it to me before disappearing with a crew member so i sat on the couch next to violet.
"i'm so tired" i said closing my eyes after leaning against the arm rest which was much more comfortable than i anticipated.

"i can tell" she said letting my put my legs on her. "how late did you stay up, or how early did you wake up"

"like midnight to midday. but it was a crappy sleep" i said yawning afterwards. i lifted my head and unwrapped my burrito. "i understand how billie eilish eats so many burritos now" i said after it had been awhile since ive had one. 

"ive met billie eilish before. she was at an awards show i went to with my aunt" violet explained. 

"thats cool, she probably remembers you then. her parents and my parents worked together when i was younger and i met her and finneas when we were little, well i was little, she was like 14" 

"okay wow, one way to one up my coolest celebrity moment" i laughed and shook my head. i wasnt trying to do that.

"hey your literal blood auntie is THE emma watson, that is the coolest celebrity moment" i finished my burrito and lowkey grabbed another one. this time i got violet to try it and she was surprised at how good it was. 

after eating my second burrito i chug a bottle of cold water. "okay i feel amazing now" soon we were called for hair and makeup and i apologised to them for not doing my hair and they said it was no problem. 

i should not have had 2 burritos before doing this scene but ill survive. it was a scene where im at a party and keep seeing the creep that had been following us throughout the movie. so being in a tight dress is suppppper uncomfortable. 

but i managed to do the scene in only a few takes and then i could get changed. my next scene i was "asleep" which was perfect i was in a hoodie and shorts and got to lay down while everyone around me finished their scene. during a break violet joined me on the bed and i smiled at her softly. she kept messing up this one line and i knew she was getting frustrated but it was cute. 

i told her to try and emphasise a different word to say if different and maybe remember it and it ended up working. she thanked me and continued going over the lines. i pulled out my phone checking it. it was nola texting me about a double date she just set up. 

im happy shes going on a date but i dont want to be there with caleb. i chucked my phone back out of shot and everyone was surprised at my carelessness for the device. my case is pretty good so i trust it. then i laid back down. 

it wasnt that bad since the whole point of the scene was for them to try and not wake me so i got to roll around a bit when they got to loud. which was funny cause i got to choose when i did that so they had to pay attention to what i was doing. 

we finally got to the next part of the scene and violet sat down next to me. she moved my hair from my face and my face grew red when i tried to stop myself from reacting. her hands so softly touched my face i almost flinched away. 

finally after this scene was done we had a break and i could grab my coffee from the fridge. "its 4pm maddie, its too late for coffee. maybe thats why you dont sleep at night" scarlett said taking it from my hand. 

"ill be asleep at 6pm if i dont have it" i said and she shook her head.

"maybe thats a good thing, catch up on the sleep you've missed" she said and i sighed at her mothering. i went to my trailer for a nap. we had 20 minutes till the next and final scene of the day. 

i found violet and dragged her to my trailer. she came with no hesitation and looked through the box of snacks on my table. 

"your favourite thing to do is sleep isnt it" she commented and i threw a pillow at her. 

"either join me or judge silently" i said and she laughed before i felt the bed dip beside me. 

"either move over or im laying on top of you"
